Honda Civic 2007Change

I have owned one of the big 3 auto,makers vehicles for over 35 years and finally ventured out to the Honda , only wished I did it 35 years ago!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyed my Civic for 6 years without a problem. Not too zippy but that's what you have to give up for great fuel economy.

After 10 years of VWs, I'm back to Honda for the reliability and gas mileage on regular gas. VWs would be great cars if it weren't for the reliability problems and the majority of their cars take premium gas. I told the salesman at Honda, it would be great if they could put the desirable VW interiors in the Honda! I did love driving the VW when it wasn't in the shop and will miss it. All my previous (three)Hondas never had a problem and only went in for regular maintenance. This Honda Civic EX is no exception, I have had no mechanical or electrical problems and the sunroof doesn't rattle like two my VWs! I get between 28 and 36 mpg on regular gas, depending on how I shift the transmission. I was surprised to find out the oil wt. recommended is 5w-20w. This may be why some people are getting worse gas mileage, if they are putting in 5w-30w (like I almost did)or 5w-40w. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the tires sold on this car is horrible.It comes with either Bridgestone or Goodyear tires both models of these tires are a safety problem in rain or snow. The car slips when it is raining, I replaced the tires before the Chicago winter hit and it is much better. The tires may be okay in the warmer climates that don't see snow or much rain...but, anywhere else they are a hazard. Now, I will be looking at the model and brand of tires sold with any new car. Overall, the Honda Civic is what I was looking for in reliability and gas mileage on regular gas. The Honda Civic Si would have been a more fun car, but I thought it takes mandatory premium gas and has the larger wheels/tires that tend to get messed-up on the pothole landscape we call Chicago! The other car I was looking at was the Toyota Matrix, but the base car(4-cylinder) that got good gas mileage didn't have electric windows. I gotten used to not cranking the windows down manually...

This is a really nice car for the entire family to enjoy and ride in. It has a smooth ride which everyone loves. and for me Im able to pick up the speed quite quickly which I love because I am a speed-demon! And the kids love sitting in the back. And there is loads of trunk space!

Ive had this car for about 5 years now. And It still runs perfect for me. I got the white color and it makes this ride look even better. This thing is like a racecar for me! Thats how I feel when I drive this car, Im able to pick my speed up quite quick which I find is a perfect bonus for me. My kids love to sit in the back and its quite comfrotable for them. And the trunk space is really good too and the tire is underneath the trunk entirely.

Rented this car from Enterprise the other day for a day trip and it got the job done. The fuel economy was solid and we got 28mpg. The interior spacing could have been better and was uncomfortable, although I am 6'1. Overall, pretty solid value for the price for a reliable drive.

I have driven this car for about 2 years now and can not say anything wrong about it, it would deff not be my style but it surely gets the job done, very reliable

this car never let me down and i never had any issues with it, i would recommend this car to anyone from new car owners and someone looking for a new vehicle.

Calculated 40-46 mpg/tankful of gasoline, 130 round trip daily commute, quick and peppy engine, quiet engine, some road noise, convenient to use and pleasant to hear sound system, generally comfortable ride, only fuel and oil used in 20,000 miles, no fold down rear seat but my other car is a 3/4 ton diesel pickup so who cares, stylish lines, good sized trunk, would like a couple of extra electrical outlets, some visibility issues when driving, ABS brakes are great, wished it had heayed outside mirrors like the Canadian version, still has a tax credir unlike the Prius, have 2 now -- would buy another, Overall, love it but it ain't no truck!

This is an amazing car that's strong across the board. If I had to pick it apart i'd say truck is a little small and would like more horsepower for fun.

Don't get me wrong. I love this little car, it has it a lot of pep. You have to be careful with it because it accelerates so quickly you will be doing 80 kpm without realizing how fast you are going. Overall it is a great car the only problem is that when I go over a hill I can't see over the dash board. I am 5'3" and I have to strain my neck to see it there is anything coming from the opposite direction.

I've had this car since 2007. I've had to replace the started, they screwed something up with the tiers that made them wear 10X faster than they should've. The inside of the car is not very nice, its all cheap plastic, the visor broke after the second year. All the plastic siding is falling off. The performance of the car is depressing because it truely has no chance of working when it is winter.

Great comfortable and reliable. Fuel economy is good, and lots of room inside. Rear seats fold down for extra cargo space. Stereo system sounds great, and comfy seats make this vehicle an all around balanced vehicle for any family.

Very comfortable, and economic. a couple of car problems but not too expensive to repair. Handling is fairly easy. Better suited for intown than on highway.

I did much research on all makes before deciding on my Honda Civic.
This car at the time had the best ratio, in my opinion, of horsepower, fuel economy, and style. Safety was also a major consideration.
Besides brakes and oil, there is nothing else I have had to do with my car.
The stereo sounds awesome with my phone plugged into it.
I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for new or even used. The dependability remains top notch with Honda, unlike Toyota which has had record-breaking recalls in the last 5 years!

Love this car, like your driving a go kart. Easy to drive ,tight steering, perfect to park at tight spots.

honda has set the bar for the small car segment. it is comfortable, safe and this is one car that every shopper needs to consider.

This is my first new car and it is wonderful. I have never had any issues with it and it is so reliable.

This vehicle is reliable, not as fuel efficient as advertised. Very comparable to my Grand Am 2004 and Subaru legacy 1996! Considering this is the selling feature you most hear (fuel efficiency) of I was a bit disappointed. However, this being said we are 2012 and it's a 2007 with no major issues to speak of. It's a bumpy ride but it get me where i need to go without issues. That is the main observation. No major issues.

I test drove many cars before settling with the civic. I don't regret it at all. It has been a reliable car with no problems as of yet. It is everything I want in my car. It is perfect for taking my grandparents around in. Not too low not too high. Te gas mileage is good as well.

my experience was not all that bad. It was a good vehicle, it was very comfortable to drive in. I loved the interior design of the car. The exterior could have been a little bit more flashy but it is not all about the cars looks. The car has to run well and be good on gas and this is what the honda civic is. It may not be the fastest but it is definately reliable and good on gas that is what i care about most.

Excellent Ride, Affordable for me and Convient to drive around and looks quite nice itself and very Durable

Best car ever for control...love gearing down (easy on the brakes that way), and being able to control how and when the vehicle accelerates and decelerates.

Love the visibility through all that glass! Greatest styling ever in the Civic 2007 Coupe!

The seats are incredibly comfortable (and I am picky, picky, picky about seat comfort in vehicles).

Only one draw-back to this and all other vehicles it seems out there....the head-rest gets in the way if my hair is clipped back! Someone needs to design for lady drivers!

Oh, one last thing....amazing fuel mileage with this fun toy! I believe it's around 7 litres per 100 kms. Really appreciate it, with such high gas prices.

I have an 07 Ex Coupe, its an awesome car! The only grip I have is that the seats aren't too comfortable, so for commutes you should get a thing for your back. The only issue I have with the car is the control arms are a bit short, which causes negative camber and eats your rear tires, it was fixed in the 08 + models, so if you're looking for one, get an 08+. Other then that solid car, amazing reliability, (like the brakes last 110,000 km). The fuel economy is amazing, I drive about 70 km each way to work every weekday and on the weekends I dirive about 200 km and gas on average is about 1.20$ and im only paying 300$ a month in gas. You can't beat that and get those looks as well.
