been a fun project.was in need of a major tune up and simple repairs when i got it but runs great now. racing seats are actually very comfortable and with the adjustable suspension it handles suprisingly well

Many Interchangeable parts makes looking for OEM or Aftermarket parts are easy. Good on Gas, parts are well priced, even reuilt engines are surprizingly quiet and efficient.

Just 1 con - Seats could be more comfortable and more detail to the location of controls

Best car ever. No problems with anything.
Rides so smooth.
No mechanical problems, engine runs perfect.

Since I had this car when I bought it from a dealer 14 yrs ago, I had nothing but good experiences with it.

Other than the good memories, the car is reliable. For gas it is cheap to buy and the fuel economy helped a lot with my budgeting.

The steering and clutch control is still smooth after 14yrs and the engine still sounds awesome like its brand new.

Everyone that have seen my car can't believe it is a 1999 Honda Civic because it looks brand new and in perfect shape both outside and inside of my car.

Lastly, I always felt comfortable driving my car during my high school, university, and working lifestyles.

If anyone buys this car for themselves or their children they are getting a great old car that looks new and is properly maintained by the original owner who has a book of records detailing car maintenance and purchase.

This car has been very reliable. I have owned this vehicle since 2000 with 25K mileage and have never been let down by it. If you are looking for a reliable vehicle this is it. Great on gas and fun to drive!

I have owned this car for 9 years after my elderly Aunt couldn't drive anymore.
It is awesome on gas and it has been dependable.
I would definitely purchase a Honda again.

Can't go wrong with this Honda! Always ready and willing to tackle any challenge whether it be from weather/temperature or driving conditions. I used this car for long distance and in-town driving. The interior design is a little dated, but it makes up in comfort and convenient design. The exterior styling is sleek and sexy, but it does have a sent on the passenger side that lowers the exterior styling rating!

Honda civics are great for everyday driving and are very reliable at the same time. If your looking for a cheap, reliable car, look for a civic.

its a great car, drives nice like a race car. it goes fast i love my civic. i have a fast sounding muffler that all the cool kids like at the plaza. it gets me all the girls with the wicked fast euro tail likes and 1 inch off the ground.

We bought second hand because of the price. It had been well looked after, but after a while of driving it, I have given it over to my husband to drive on a regular basis as I find it uncomfortable and do not feel as safe as I could in another car. Compared to something like a Toyota Camry, I would not recommend this car to any females that are used to feeling like if they were in an accident, the car wouldn't just crumble. Just my opinion, I know others who absolutely LOVE it, so what do I know?

Though she is old, she is still going strong. Runs fine (many repairs have been made lately but shes 13 years old...). The body is fine, only complaint is that around the rear tires there is rust but I believe this is typical with civics.

Reliable, fuel efficient. It's a great vehicle that never really needed to be brought to the mechanic. It was extremely fuel efficient, we also have a mini fan which guzzles gas like crazy! It was a second hand car but still worked like a brand new one! What else can I say?

car is really fast, very good on gas, relaible. Gota sell to get a truck, dont want to let it go. K20z1 swap sounds amazing, vtec crossover is loud and has a niced sound.

I have had this car now for three years. Other than the normal wear and tear expected of a car this age, it has proved to be a very reliable vehicle. We have driven it across the country through good and bad terrain. It is a front wheel drive but has proved to work great in all conditions.

At almost 20 years old, a lot of folks would look upon this car and assume it is simply a winter beater, or best used to teach their teenager how to drive. Not necessarily so, as the availability of after market parts and accessories, OEM replacement parts, and customization options allow new life to be breathed into this venerable frame. Reliable and efficient even by today's standards, the '99 Civic allows for a relatively inexpensive and wise entry into automobile ownership.

We had this car for 4 years before we upgraded to a bigger , more"family friendly" vehicle. The civic was great for getting to and from work, errands, roadtrips and everything else before we had 2 kids. Its compact and really great on gas. And when it comes to Honda, of course it was very reliable, never once it broke on us. It probably helped that hubby is a licensed mechanic and was giving it lots of TLC. We were very sorry to see it go as we could not keep two cars otherwise he would have kept it.

the car performance wasn't so bad as it has an 1500 cc engine, where it will lose a lot of power when turning on the A/C but it is good in fuel consumption comparing to the service it provide and according to its performance.

Honda civic si are one of the most reliable cars, these are not just reliable there are also very fuel efficient. The exterior its not too fancy nor is it outdated, it has very comforting look to it. These cars have a lot of potential for those who like to customize and turn these cars into beasts. These are great car for those who would like to buy their first cars or learn how to drive standard. These cars are cheap to buy and they definitely worth the money if bought cheap and lasts for a couple of years. My experience with the civic si has been good.

These cars are made to last. I've never had big problems with Honda, the motors go forever. It's a 13 year old car and still running very good.

i got this car for my first car and it lasted me until 2 years ago when i got in an accedent but other then that it is an amazing reliable car

I bought my Honda Civic 3 years ago as my first car. It's doing a perfect job; it's not expensive in fuel, it's looking great. Of course, it's not the quickest car and not the strongest one... But it's normal, it's small and economic. I also rarely have problems with my car: Pieces are lasting...

So........ buy a Honda Civic!

This car has been amazing. Well worth the $$$$. Not sure I will be able to find another car that has been this reliable. If I could afford a new one I would not hesitate to buy one.

We haven't had any major problems with our Honda. It's nice to drive and handles well. However, I don't find the seat comfortable, and it seems you can feel everything on the road. It doesn't have a smooth ride like I feel in other cars.

Despite the fact that my Honda Civic hatchback is 13 years old, it runs perfectly fine. I've never had any major problems or repairs. I've always made sure to get the proper maintenance done regularly, and because of that, I'm pretty sure i can get several more years out of it.

No power anything. Doesn't bother me though, although AC would be nice in the summer for long commutes.

I've been very pleased with this car, and will definitely be buying another Honda in the future because they are so reliable and well made.
