Dan has been working in the automotive industry for the better part of the last decade, splitting his time between automotive media and public relations. Dan graduated from Toronto’s Humber College with an advanced diploma in journalism – print and broadcast. His work as a journalist spans from newspaper to television and the web, reviewing cars in writing and in front of the camera. In his role as Road Test Editor, Dan provides expert insight and analysis of the Canadian new car market.

Sébastien has been writing about cars for about a decade and reading about them all his life. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in English from Wilfrid Laurier University, he entered the fast-paced world of automotive journalism and developed a keen eye for noteworthy news and important developments in the industry. Off the clock, he’s an avid cyclist, a big motorsports fan, and if this doesn’t work out, he may run away and join the circus after taking up silks.

Jil McIntosh writes about new cars, antique and classic cars, and the automotive industry. A member of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC), she has won several awards for her writing, including Journalist of the Year in 2016. In addition to testing new vehicles, she owns two from the 1940s.

Benjamin Hunting is a freelance writer who enjoys keeping the shiny side up during track days. He is also an avid musician and a friend to vinyl.

John is an automotive writing and communications professional with over two decades of experience as a nationally syndicated automotive journalist and editor for various publications across North America, as well as roles on the corporate communications side of the business. Once the ski season ends, he can be found smiling behind the wheel of his 2006 BMW M Roadster.

Chris is a freelance automotive journalist based in Toronto with more than eight years of experience. The former Reviews Editor at The Drive, he also contributes to Motor1 and is a member of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC). When he's not driving, writing, or thinking about cars, he's probably daydreaming about Korean food or corgis.

Living in rural Nova Scotia, Matthew is certified gearhead who enjoys sharing his excitement about cars and trucks. He is a member of AJAC, has been professionally scribbling words about cars since 2011, and has an infectious laugh.

Chris D'Alessandro is a gear head, journalist, and comedy writer living in Toronto, with previous bylines in the Toronto Star and Vice Canada. He has an Australian cattle dog, a Canadian Comedy Award, more tattoo cover-ups than he’d care to admit, and a love-hate relationship with his Ford Mustang GT.

Peter Bleakney is a Toronto-based automotive journalist. He is also a member of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).

Jodi is a multiple award-winning automotive journalist who has been covering the industry for almost 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson), is a member of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC), and a jury member for the North American Car/Truck/Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY). Jodi is the Editor-in-Chief of AutoTrader and the recipient of the prestigious 2022 AJAC Journalist of the Year Award.
