Awesome First Car!!!
Very reliable and fun to drive! I loved having this set of wheels as a first car and it also has the lowest insurance cost for young drivers, which is a plus! Not abused at all, still drives the same as the day I bought it.

Don't really want to sell ... but
My first Ford Ranger was a used 1985 from a friend who had bought it new and took care of it like a gem. After I purchased that one off him, I was hooked and knew that 2011 was the last of the Rangers, so I purchased a new one. Now, with an elderly mother who has difficulty getting up into it and a few grandchildren, the lack of a back seat for their car seats poses a problem, I have no option but to sell. The potential new owner will be very happy with it, I am sure

Great Value for Small Truck
This truck has the capability of a truck with the fuel mileage of a car. It is perfect for someone who needs to have a truck for the odd day but not needing to spend lots of money on fuel and the vehicle as a large truck. Better fuel mileage since it is a 4x2.

Very handy truck
I have enjoyed driving this truck, it's a great truck if you have bulky items to carry around. I no longer need the capabilities of the truck bed and am downsizing to a car, the one downside to the truck is I get approximately 470 km to the 60L tank of gas. Other than that it has been a fantastic vehicle.

awesome little truck
I love this truck! But I am looking for something with more usable space now. It is good on gas and VERY reliable. I have never had a problem with it since I bought it. The 2 way command starter is great, it works from a very far distance (installed at ford when I purchased the truck)

Reliable
I've had this Ranger from new. I have had no mechanical issues and for the most part have serviced it myself. I have it set-up for trailer towing and it does an adequate job towing my 5,500 lb camper trailer.
In my view, the only drawback is the fuel economy, or lack thereof. I haven't been able to get more than 20 mpg hwy driving conservatively. I understand that owners are getting better than that with full sized 4X4's.
Other than the gas mileage, I think it's an excellent truck and would recomment it to family and friends.

Great little truck
This is a great little truck. Comfortable to drive, lots of room for bags/gear/groceries behind the seats. Large box fits lots of materials from the lumber yard. 4X4 is great when snowplows have not cleared the roads. Lots of low end power. No complaints for this workhorse.

Off road kit installed its like a dream.
Although this is a small truck it has a extended trailer, and seats 4. Very comfortable and durable. easy cleaning as it is mostly plastic, no carpet !!

cheep cheerful and hardworking
my 1995 ford ranger 2.3l 4cylender 5spd, oliver as it has been named and topgear u k fans will get it, is the absolute definition of cheep and cheerful. it is cheep to run costing an average of $55 to fill and usually getting around 600 km to a tank. it isnt very fast but with the 5 speed standard transmission it tries very hard. it has a good ride and great payload/towing capacity for a truck of its size my only complaint about it is that at almost 6'5" i find the cab crampt

it not just a mans truck it a woman car it gets me to work and the store ang run smothly and i would buy a other one it very quiet and it fun to go camping and sets four perfert for the family and dog and not to bad on gas depends where you go the shape is nice and small just the right size it fits big stuff in the trunk or even grogerys what ever i need. i love it
