Ford Ranger 2009Change

This is my third Ranger. my first two were leases.
The engine in unstoppable. it is solid, handles well, ample power, tows well. all three Rangers never needed front brakes till 80k, rear till about 150k. May lack a few creature comforts but less things to go wrong. truck is at 180k and performs brand new no loss of power no oil loss or burning. truck has taken and handled everything its been asked to do.

Ford Rangers are the best light truck you could possible want. The 6 cylinder has a lot of power and can tow up to 6000 lbs and the 4x4 version is absolutely amazing off-road or in the snow. I would buy another Ranger in an instant.

For a small truck, this Ford Ranger has done me well. It is easy to drive and park. It can carry just about anything in the back and has great towing capabilities. The cab is great for two people, three can sit fairly comfortably in the front and although a bit squishy for adults, the two back jumper seats are great for kids. Keeping the jumper seats folded down, they make a good shelf as well for storage. The manual transmission makes this truck fun to drive and very responsive on the highway.

I have loved this truck since the moment I bought it. I've never had any issues with it. Just ready for something different and with a bit better gas mileage since I do mostly highway driving.

Good highway and city truck. Very good light duty vehicle. Very clean and well maintained. Good gas mileage.

A typical small truck. Spartan, minimal comforts in the interior but put your foot on the pedal and the truck works consistently and reliably. Seats have minimal adjustments, passenger room in the club cab is tiny. Driving daily for work and play since new I have had no problems. Repairs to a water pump and a minor transmission leak where covered under warranty.

I was forced off the road in 2010, resulting in me diching and rolling my FORD RANGER truck 6 x, through paige wire and landing on the roof.

Luckily after taking off my seatbelt and landing on the roof, I was able to put truck in park, remove my truck/house keys, and open the window that got impacted as the truck rolled (drivers side}

After I was able to pull myself out I stood back and thought to myself ..' You know - I'm lucky to be alive - YES SIR -Build FORD TOUGH

I have had this truck for 2 years now and I am very happy with it. The 4lt engine provides decent power, I have towed with it a few times without any problems. The AC is very good, heater works very quick. Decent sound from the stock stereo and I do enjoy the satelite radio that was in it.
I haven't had any problems that I had to bring it to a garage, only for regular oil changes. I've just went over 40,000 kms. The only thing I don't like is the fuel economy. If you would like a light duty truck and don't want to shell out the dallors for a full size I would reccomend the Ranger.

This truck is awesome in all situations. Yeah, the 4.0l V6 drinks the gas, but it sure is a nice ride!

The Ranger is a great truck for a low price. I would recommend anybody to pick one up before they are all gone. I found that is great for towing. It is comfortable, and a great ride. It has good get up and go. The fuel economy is pretty good. just depends on how you drive. It would be nice if the Ranger came as a crew cab in america. It was nice that it came with a free subscription of Sirius satelite, it got me hooked on it.

not the best in fuel for being a small truck, to small for a work truck even though it has not bad power for a small truck..the inside is a bit cramped and when looking out the front window one has to duck down to see the lights .. mine is a 4x4 with the 4 liter v6..its to light and to much torque for a small truck .. back seats are way to small even for a 12 year old but one could mangage if needed to .. they do drive nice and its not all over the road when other vehicles pass ya on the highway

Good for truck duties on a budget but probably not good for heavy duty affairs. Works for my purposes, not great in snow.

This is my second Ranger. After a short experiment with a Mini-van due to an expanding family I couldn't wait to get another Ranger. I wasn't disappointed. Great Truck

Rough and tumble this little truck has got me through a few winters. Love how it handles. In 4x4 I can get through all the snow that's been thrown at it. Love it's Ford style small turning radius. Next vehicle I buy will be an F150 and that's only because our family size has grown.

This is a great highway hauler. The back seat of the cab is perfect for kids, and the box is great for everyday use. It really holds it's own while in 4x4 but you also have the luxury of switching to 2WD on the street. I like the exterior styling of this 1/4 ton truck. on the highway it doesn't feel like it's on of the smaller trucks on the market, it drives like a 1/2 ton truck without the high fuel cost.
