Honda CR-V 2002Change

This vehicle will never die. No rust, virtually no repairs (other than the obvious tires, brakes oil in 13 years.
AWD and Fun-fun to drive. Even has a built in tailgate table and under the rear floor!
Tried out the 2011 and 2014. Why spend another 20k on something that does exactly what mine does and no table!
So many cubbies, sliding rear seats and fold flat. The new CRV's rear seats don't slide.
We're oaky with the swing door. Again, not worth 20k + to upgrade to a lift gate.
Doesn't get the L/100km like the new cars, but 8.9 vs. the newer 7.5 on the hwy doesn't justify paying $400+ /month for a new one.

it is very reliable car. i had this car for two year without any issue.
it is good vehicle for kids with lots of room for strollers and groceries etc.
it's a smaller engine with good power and very good on gas.
with AWD the winter driving was very safe.

Had the car for 8 years, great in city as well as logging roads. Never any problems, peppy, a little higher on gas than I'd like...

You can always count on this vehicle to get you to your destination. Starts every time, even in extreme conditions and the AWD is an added bonus with the severe weather.

Although the vehicle is over 10 years old, it is still stylish and looks great. It also gets great gas mileage.

Very Reliable SUV. Great in Winter.
Since I bought it as a certified at a Honda Dealer, I have just change oil, filters and breaks as required. No issues at all. Always ready. This japanes car was built to last.

Excellent Vehicle. Great in the winter. When all other cars, and trucks get stuck in the snow, the CRV trudges on. Starts every time, the first time, and it is over 10 years old. Low low low maintenance. No major engine problems.
Considering it's a 4 cylinder, it could be a bit better on fuel consumption.

Bought it used and love its versatility. Fit 3 large dogs in the cargo area along with 4 adult passengers.
Haven't had any mechanical issues outside of the regular maintainence. It does seem to need brakes replaced more frequently than previous vehicles.
But other than that this is a great SUV.

At 10 years old this car still looks and drives great. It has required little repairs and just regular maintenance such as new tires, brakes, etc. It gets great gas mileage both in city and highway. The only thing that gives away the car's age is the changes in body styling over the years. There is zero rusting and this car has been on tough Michigan winter roads for all of the last ten years. I am only at 123,000 miles so this car has plenty of life in it. I couldn’t be happier with my Honda CRV and I will continue to buy Honda for years to come.

I bought this Honda after multiple issues with my Chrysler vans and a Ford focus wagon, as I needed room for my manual wheelchair. It has just a little bit less cargo room than the vans but is much more reliable. Although I would have paid almost the same price for a 6yr newer domestic car, I really was looking for long term reliability. I bought it used with over 150 k on it and now have 250 k and still runs like it did 2 years earlier. The 4 wheel drive works great in the snow and have had nothing major to fix, just the usual brakes, oil changes and one of the pwr windows stopped working. It has an excellent heating and cooling system, that generaly failed me with the other domestics. It is always heats up quickly in the winter and cool very fast on the hottest of summer days. All in all am happy I purchased the Honda and hope it continues with its' reliability with another 100 k.

2002 Honda CRV EX Auto 4 wheel drive, Automatic Transmission, power door locks, power windows, keyless entry, 6 disc cd player, moonroof, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, 115,000 miles(184,000 km), new tires, new battery, and needs nothing. I got it from a Honda mechanic(first owner, who needs 6 seats van) in USA in 2010. I will move, so want to sell it.

This car has been 100% reliable. The dealer can provide you with the complete service history. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a CRV to anyone. We are upgrading to a newer model.

I have owned this car since new. It has over 350,000km. Regular maintenance and brakes are the only service and repairs done. Very comfortable and reliable.

Interior design is very ergonomic and adheres to both driver and passenger needs while maintaining a modern and attractive look. Vehicle is very reliable and easy to work on when needed. Fuel economy is good, about $60 to fill with 500kms to a tank. Winter performance is exceptional because of the intelligent AWD Honda system.
