Ford Explorer 2007Change

Our family has had this car for over a decade and it has never once given us any difficulties! I recommend it

I've owned the Explorer for several years. It was perfectly sized and powered with options suitable for my personal and business use. Comfortable seating for 4 and I've used all 7 seats many times. Long trips to Florida or to the cottage with the entertainment package is a great feature. The 4 wheel drive is obviously great in the winter months. Pulling a trailer with a V8 made it easy. Very satisfied and glad to have owned one.

The Ford Explorer and Expeditions are excellent rides and very well built. I have had very little expense maintaining my vehicles.

Bought in the US in 2008 with 13,000 km. Now has 185,000 km and well suited to our lifestyle. One car for retired couple; dealer serviced to 100,000 km.Has been multi-purpose as a tow vehicle for a 4300 lb travel trailer, daily driver, truck (for household moves) bus for excursions with family and friend (7 seats). Cons: Fuel economy is not great; stiff truck frame is hard on old backs when going over speed bumps at an angle; have replaced radiator, alternator and thermostat housing already. Pros: much less expensive to purchase than many other mid-sized SUV's, good looks (red); very quiet ride; comfortable seats, lots of safety airbags, extra seating; tires and brakes have lasted a long time (just on second set of each); engine strong and not burning oil.

This SUV is excellent. Our family loves the. Ford Explorer. It is reliable, sturdy and decent on fuel for the fact that it is a SUV (600km in the city per tank)

We have owned this vehicle for 3 years. It has been very reliable, and has made a great ski vehicle and a daily commuter for my wife.

Lots of storage capacity with fold-flat rear seats. The V8 engine has great towing and highway-passing power.

I bought this car used in 08. The comfort and design and shape of this SUV is amazing, especially the seats, extremely comfy and lots of leg room. Those are basically all the pros. Now to the cons, there are quite a few including fuel economy, which is pretty high and giving not much power in this car. When you go uphill, you can feel it slowing down due to a powerless engine. The reliability is pretty good, not much problems the 5 years I had it. Overall a good family car, but not a good car for everyday working.

Very comfortable to drive.

Lots of extras like heated leather seats, heated mirrors, third row seating, aux audio in jack.

Really like the third row. Gives the seating capabilities of a minivan but still has a masculine look.

There's some weird things going on with the interior light staying on or coming on at odd times when driving.

It's seems to burn a lot of gas considering the total lack of power when accelerating.

Great ride, can fit my kids in comfortably as well as quite a bit of luggage. Drives great long distance, and on gravel roads with out much jumping....Would not own anything smaller
