Ford Explorer 2000Change

I love this SUV, just wish I had more use for it. It's not excessive on gas compared to most other vehicles, and it has a lot of power and is a very comfortable ride. Very spacious also, whether carrying passengers or helping move large items.

This SUV runs well, has many features and is in great condition. Well-maintained. Mostly driven around Calgary and occasionally to Edmonton. It has been stored in the garage and has mod and snow Michelin tires.

I purchased this car, used, in 2004. I have never needed a tow truck. It always started even in the coldest weather as soon as I turned the key. It has plenty of room for a family of four and a dog as well as gear to go camping. During heavy snowfalls, I am at the next set of lights while the cars are still spinning their tires at the starting point, even in two wheel drive. The traction is unbelieveable.
The only downside to this vehicle is they could've coated the side steps and rear bumper, as they are rusting more than what the body is doing. The main body looks great except for above the windshield, where I have two to three spots of rust as where the rest of the body except for age, looks like it came from the showroom.
Except for normal wear and tear, this vehicle has not given me any problems or cost me any money to repair. I replace oil every 5000km. Exhaust is stainless steel and will last the lifetime of the vehicle. It passes emissions with flying colours.

I enjoyed the ride and thought that it handled very well ,but the fuel economy of this vehicle is way too high.

everyday dependable with 4 wheel drive security in bad weather and rough terrain. A perfect family vehicle with room for 5 and storage in rear.

This vehicle has been very reliable for us. We tow a 16 ft foot boat and haven't had any problems. Our only complaint is, it's a pig on gas.

I haven't had this vehicle for long but it's performance and reliability is outstanding. I love my Explorer, it's a practicle and comfortable ride. I got it used but there's nothing wrong with it, it also is awesome to go mudding with. The back window on the trunk is real handy.

Great solid, reliable, great in all weather condiitons. Almost 13 years old and still going strong. No problems other than regular maintenance and recalls. It's an 4x2 but with good tires performs almost as good as a 4x4 in snow.

Bought my Ford Explorer new in 2000 and am totally getting my money's worth out of it. 7 years since I had a care payment. It is hard on gas but other than that it's great. I have never had any major problems with it just regular upkeep and maintenance. It rides well, has comfortable interior, very roomy cargo hold and fold down back seats. The sound system that came in it is awesome and I love music . Best car purchase I ever made and hope it lasts another 12 years.
