Ford Escape 2008Change

Very good vehicule, 4 years rental no reperation at all. Powerfull enought for a trailer. we did over 80 000 km and we were very satisfy.

Great vehicle. V6 engine is very good. Only 2 major issues... the glass hinges on the rear tailgate have corroded letting in a little bit of water... so those need replacing.
The recycled material used for the cloth seats stain very easily even with rain drops! Ford had many complaints and finally replaced the material but they did not take care of previous customers with the issue.

Pickup my wife from work downtown. Takes us and our two dogs 130 km to visit family with ease. Wind/tire noise is a bit of a sore point but tracks excellently.

Great experience, however I will NOT be buying one of the new ones, considering they look like a cross between station wagon & minivan. looks like its half the size of the normal Escapes!

A good reliable SUV. We've only had it for less than a year but have had no problems at all. It rides really nice and is very comfortable. Compared to other vehicles we've owned it's good on gas too.

This vehicle is great to drive! The windows allow for terrific visibility and I really enjoy the moonroof for extra light and ventilation in the summer. I'm a female who is 5'4" with a small build and the interior is well proportioned for my size. Fuel economy is pretty good... the fuel tank is a little small in terms of capacity though so on long road trips there is a need to fill maybe a little more often than some other vehicles. The ride is comfortable as are the seats. The interior is also spacious - we have comfortably fit 5 adults and stuff in the hatchback part. I do find the 4 speed transmission a bit inadequate when accelerating to get up to highway speed with a tendency to bog down around 80 km/hr however after getting past that speed it picks up nicely. Overall a pleasing vehicle to drive.

I find the Escape to have an overall average SUV type of a ride. You can definitely feel the bumps on the highway and Ford didn't really go overboard on the styling of the interior or exterior. Great cargo space and passenger area is comfortable. Fuel economy is good on the highway.
