This Is Reliable.
This car is a fast and reliable and low cost car that you can buy. It's a moneyback guaranteed car, I love the interior design most, it seems classical and comforting, as if you were going to take a luxurious and lavish bath, anyways this car is AMAZING. Recommend you to get it if you are looking for low cost car.

Used 528i - Deal at $3000 CAD
styling is just so so for this model-year.
i don't like the tail/rear light design
front is ok.
car is well designed interior
electronics start to go for an old car like this (gremlins), dash lights turn on and off for no reason. windshield wiper sometimes stops working in the middle of a drive, which is dangerous when raining and you're going fast.
seat adjustments stopped working on passenger side
had to replace coolant pipes and thermostat. fixing at a dealership is expensive!

Extremely comfortable daily driver with all of the bells and whistles. Crazy comfy 12-way adustable sport bolstered seats and lots of power when you want it. Superb handling that is fun to drive and incredibly fuel efficient. 800-900++ kms. per 60L tank on the highway

I bought this vehicle not long ago. I drove it on a rainy day with an average speed of 50mph. I hit the traction control to maximize traction control, but the vehicle started to act weird. First, It locked up my control wheel. then it started to roll left. I was driving alone so i assumed that there was more weight on the left and thats why it rolled left. The vehicle was designed to not let you place any control input to fix the left roll. I hit curve so hard that it almost took my life. I will never trust BMW traction control system again. If you own this vehicle and you live in a area where it rains a lot, I suggest you sell your BMW right a way. Its not worth it to risk your life for some beautiful interior designs.

Terrific Ride
Car of my dreams. It has a 3.7L 300HP dual turbo engine. It eats gas. I can pass anyone who drives slow. I barely need to touch the gas for the car to fly. It is high maintenance and requires grade a Fuel

Terrific ride
One of the most satisfying midsize sport sedans/wagons you can buy, ultrarefined engines, multiple transmissions, tastefully appointed cabin, exceptional build quality. This is a wonderful car ready for any type of weather circumstances equipped with AWD technology for top safety and pleasure. The interior comfort is great, and road noise is minimal. The performance is great. I love this car. It's so fast and so smooth. Love the idrive.

Super luxury and Sport
This is one amazing machine had it how for 4 year i do a lot of HWY driving. Ok the HWY it good on gas for a V8 twin turbo. The executive seats are so comfortable you dont want to get our of the car. When you want to corner just put it in sports + and this bad boy is on rails. Reliability is good no major issues.

German Engineering at it's best
The car drives really good. The x drive is amazing in the winter and if you add the winter tires you will not feel the show underneath. The fuel economy is acceptable for a 3l engine. The seats are comfortable. I took for 4,000 km drive in the summer and didn't feel like I needed to stop and stretch my back. It drives like a luxury car in the city and like a sports car on the hi way.

You can't beat German Technology
I absolutely love the way this car handles and rides. It's quiet inside, so you don't feel tired after a long trip. The fuel economy was a surprise from the start of ownership. If I keep my speed in the 115 km territory I can get 6.8 L/100km, How's that for efficiency? I love to looks of the vehicle and it still drives and handles like new.

Amazing ride - one of the best BMWs
The 5 series E-60 is one of the best BMWs I have ever driven (I also own a 2013 328 xDrive & a 2008 335i)
The car is very solid and reliable and never broke down (as long as you do the preventive maintenance and take good care of it)
Relative to the performance; that 4.8 V8 engine with 362 Bhp is one of the best engines with much power and being naturally aspirated it gives you an amazing feel with no turbo lags and most importantly no turbo break downs and other issues. Although the engine 4.8 L, but the fuel consumption is amazing (almost the same as my 335i with 6 cylinder engine !!)
The ride is smoother and more comfortable and the vehicle is spacious inside and in my opinion is way better looking than the new 5-series

Do not judge by the year, drive it yourself
Wonderful car to drive. The suspensions are amazing, rigid to the ground when taking sharp turns. Comfortable seats. Not to long nor to short of a car, just the perfect size sports car. If desire for more speed, one can add super charger or turbo charger in the engine without worrying for space.

Best BMW ever made
If you research this car (E39 Model) you'll see BMW aficionados say this is the best one ever made. Supple ride but fantastic handling due to aluminum suspension. Fuel economy is good for a 4.4 L engine. 300,000 miles are not uncommon with this car if serviced properly. They have held their value well due to their build quality. If you can afford one, get one!

Very practical and stylish yet sporty
I'm kind of wagon guy.
Personally I prefer wagon to suv or minivan.
I used to drive mini clubman and volvo v70 and I really love them.
But when I drove BMW 5 Wagon it even gave me a joy of driving too. Feels very sporty and sharp at corners. And very spacious and comfy.
But some parts are very pricey especially the battery.
If common problems with 5 series are being taken care of, this 5 series wagons will never disappoint you.

Comfortable, affordable and fast
Of all the BMWs I have owned, the 2003 540i M is the best bang for the buck, the last year of the classic BMW body style. I was drawn to the black interior with the black headliner and sunshades. It just looks great inside especially at night. The headlights too are unique and have many different settings for highway or in town. Great on the highway, or any road for that manner. When you want to pass or get into traffic, you get there, fast! Synthetic oil changes are expensive but are good for 10k. The M 540 is a BMW factory souped up car with out the high cost of an M5 in a similar year. The newer BMWs are extremely expensive to maintain and are unreliable, 2003 540i M... Great car, if they made this model unchanged today I would buy one.
