BMW 5 Series 2003Change

This car is in great shape and drives like new. The entire car is like new. Carbon fiber trim, leather interior and an awesome sound system. An amazing ride.

If you research this car (E39 Model) you'll see BMW aficionados say this is the best one ever made. Supple ride but fantastic handling due to aluminum suspension. Fuel economy is good for a 4.4 L engine. 300,000 miles are not uncommon with this car if serviced properly. They have held their value well due to their build quality. If you can afford one, get one!

Of all the BMWs I have owned, the 2003 540i M is the best bang for the buck, the last year of the classic BMW body style. I was drawn to the black interior with the black headliner and sunshades. It just looks great inside especially at night. The headlights too are unique and have many different settings for highway or in town. Great on the highway, or any road for that manner. When you want to pass or get into traffic, you get there, fast! Synthetic oil changes are expensive but are good for 10k. The M 540 is a BMW factory souped up car with out the high cost of an M5 in a similar year. The newer BMWs are extremely expensive to maintain and are unreliable, 2003 540i M... Great car, if they made this model unchanged today I would buy one.

Fast 6 seconds to reach 100 kilo per hour best driving experience ever! You can use 87 grade gas not affecting performance. Back seat middle could be more spacious. The trunk is deep and safest because you can lock the backseats and wheels! Had this for 5 years could drive for 5 more years .

Own this car for 5 years now will never feel tired this is the Best in BMW 5 series Looks elegant inspiring. I drove from Toronto to Kentucky 10 hours not feeling tired but energetic, unlike my previous Volvo very tired after arrival. Parts are cheap.This is my first BMW which impressed me the most I will drive the car forever

Ouch! owned my beast for 13 months, bought it with only 150000 so should have driven great.....$7000 into repairs in the time i owned it!!!!!! THAT'S over 500 a month!!!!!! and averaged 20 MPG combined with PREMIUM fuel! I wouldn't suggest this car to anyone ever...fun to drive and an impressive sports sedan, but stick to appreciating it from a distance, never own one! reliability isn't even in its vocabulary!

This car is extremely comfortable and it's amazing the amount of technological advances and options it has for an almost 10 year old car. A pleasure to drive, very sporty feel and cruises on highway extremely well. Very stable and sporty feel. This is the last yer of production for the E39 style and I believe it is timeless in it's design.
