Volkswagen Jetta 2012Change

My Jetta is fantastic. I have never been so happy with any other vehicle I've owned.Ive had a few complications, like minor maintenance but besides that, everything is great.

The VW Jetta is a reliable, trendy, accurate driving car. Its a nice car, very good for town. A lot of space, comfortable seats, its a pleasure to ride it. I feel safe with this car. It has a very good stability on the road. A lot of options which are making driving a lot easier.

It's nice when driving down the highway, you can't really hear any cars while driving. It handles well and the ride is nice and smooth.
Aesthetically it's a very nice looking car. Ours is black, and it looks really good in black.
Well made vehicle, with excellent fuel economy. Especially if you do a lot of highway driving.
Very reliable, ours was bought used and we haven't had any issues with ours and we've had it more than six months.

I sold this car only a few months after I bought it. No reliability. So expensive to fix anything also. Stay far away from it. Only redeeming quality is the fuel efficiency. You will regret owning this hunk of junk. Run away if you see one.

Pretty noisy, fun to drive if you like noisy cars, sharp color, many people will look at you when u push the pedal, etc..pretty fun tho to drive this car.

This is an awesome car for someone that spends time driving throughout the day. The fuel economy on the diesel is beyond what I expected and the performance is outstanding with the diesel torque.

This car is very economic in fuel. Not the most powerful, but gets you where you need comfortably and safely. It is enjoyable to drive, like most German cars.

Loads of space for a family, great leg room, gas is fantastic
Great for city driving and cheap on insurance-

There are a number of great things about this car - heated front seats with plenty of leg and shoulder space - same thing in the back. Trunk space is excellent and fuel economy is good too. Smooth ride and very quiet. Good stereo system.

Things that could be improved - visibility in blind spots and with backing up, 2.0L with 115hp is a bit weak for highway uphill driving, back end is a bit bulky looking in design, connectivity package for bluetooth sounds like a wind tunnel.

The Jetta is a great car - it's reliable, very attractive, and super easy on fuel. It's also surprisingly affordable considering the great quality. I test drove many cars within the same price range before I purchased my Jetta but none of the other brands could compete. It works well for any lifestyle. I drive mine mainly in the city, but it handles beautifully on highways and longer journeys as well. I've had my car for over a year now and have not had any maintenance issues at all. I'd recommend this car to anyone!

I got this Jetta brand new and it was my first brand new car in life. The confort in this cars is really smooth and nice. I love to drive it because you feel the security and stability. I love a more economic engine because the fuel price is so high that a full tank cost alot.

Love my 2012 Jetta. The 5 cylinder engine is a great cross of performance and fuel economy.

The exterior looks awesome and the interior is very nice. Heated seats are a great addition in the cold climate of Canada. A remote started would be nice but not entirely necessary.

Trunk size is great and the over all look is good. One downside is the cost of maintenance as VW uses synthetic oil from the factory so expect oil changes to cost a bit more.

I Bought the car because I needed a reliable, cheap to run car which looks good. I got it all except for power, the throttle respose is not very good and it only has 115hp but the torque helps out a bit, especially on hills.
I'd definately get another jetta, just not the trendline plus again

Excellent car. Great handling. Decent on Gas. Like the ride and the steering. Some quirks in the upgraded stereo but overall very satisfied with the car. Big fan of the look and the interior room.

The 2012 VW Jetta delivers a better driving feel and more back-seat room than many other compact sedans; skip the cost-cutter base versions in favor of the TDI or the GLI for a distinctive choice in the compact class.

Reliability and fuel economy are key to these wheels. Some sleek design changes have made this a much more appealing style of a family type car than years prior. With a bit of a turbo lag, this is the only drawback to a peppy little engine combined with a 6 speed manual tranny. My driving experience of this vehicle has made me believe the "V" is back in VW.

Looked at many cars like the Honda civic, Toyota corolla, Hyundai elantra and Kia forte. All had good features but the VW Jetta TDI highline quality seemed better. Bought it new, and it is the first VW I have every owned... love it. Surprisingly powerful and fast, and I get 875km on a $65 tank driving on the 401 during rush hour. I have gotten 1100 km drive steady highway. I am very happy with it and I certainly recommend it.

I bought this new car for my child and I have yet to regret my choice. It is well-suited for driving into town (where my child's attends university) and is very comfortable.

The new jetta is a great ride. Lots of air bags for safety which was big for us with a small child. We were only planning on a short lease, but will likely extend it. I recommend Volkswagen to anyone looking!

Why get this car?
Its reliable and even though it is small on the outside the inside would totally amaze you. Quite roomy for a car that seems so small on the outside. Thats why you can't judge a book by its cover but we are talking cars here.So you can't judge a car by its shell.

I also love the bug cause as a kid i grew up watching the herbie the love bug movies. They were always a treat and i'd say that is what i must have when i grow up.
My younger sister took the giant leap and bought a blue one. I will tell you I was jealous just a bit but glad she made the purchase

great car to have. very reliable, and nice design and very good on gas consumption. highly recommended to buy this car.

The power for this car is great for the class, the horsepower isn't that great just average. However, the torque in the turbo charged diesel engine is great. I've heard alot of people saying the new look of the jetta isn't that great, personally I love it. Interior styling also good, doesn't look like they cheaped out on any parts.

This car was an excellent buy, it is beautiful and has a very spacious trunk and glove compartment! I would definitely recommend it to other people looking to buy a new vehicle. It is worth it also to invest in the monster mats and the plastic mats for the trunk. I have found them to be a life saver when its rainy or something spills. I also love the easy open windows and the ability to open the trunk using the key less entry.
