very good quality, never had to go to the garage for any problems. very good looking from he exterior design andd even from the interior design is very good looking. the colour white is perfect for it. the front bumper is good. 2.5L is amazing... hte 2L is not good because the jetta is a heavy car. very strong car. i would change the dashboard because it is too simple... maybe for something more advanced...

This car always felt like way more of a sports car than I was expecting
Fuel economy was less than I was expecting
Comfort and ride was great

Bought used 2 years ago. Daily driven since.
We can comfortably fit our growing family of 4. Spacious interior and large trunk. Decent fuel economy in the city and great on the highway.

On the downside, the brakes on this car are awful and have a tendency to collect crud from the road when travelling in foul weather. Car typically sounds like it will fall apart under braking for a few days after traveling in bad weather.

Acceleration is virtually non existent on the 2.0 liter engine, which is why it's commonly known as the 2 point slow. Going from 60 to 100 is terrible, regardless of how much you downshift.

Would not buy again

Smooth ride, great comfort for the city and superb handling for highway driving. Fuel consumption is competitive with all the other cars I've driven in this category. High fuel efficiency both city/highway.

Trunk is deep enough to fit 3 hockey bags. And interior comfortably fits 5 people.

This is my favorite generation of the Jetta's because of its lines and design. I used it to meet with clients and always felt confident driving in with my Jetta.

Great cars have 623.000km on it and still runs like the first day :)
Absolutely cheap on fuel and excellent vehicle for family or work

..thisdiesel cars never break down if you take care of them and do the services in time :)

This car is amazing. It has amazing performance yet is comfortable when that is prefered. It cuts an amazing profile and is an all around great car!

Only Engine is good rest all Mechanical & Electrical parts have issues. Exhaust flap open to atmosphere & malfunctions. Triggers engine light. 3 door latches changed in 1 year period costs about $1500. Headliner falls off due to cheap glue. Is not worth to save little money on diesel & spend a lot on fixing the crappy parts.

This has been a great car from day one. Very reliable and fuel efficient. You can get over 1000km highway driving resulting in less stops at the gas station.

This diesel jetta has great fuel economy. Very reliable. Nice interior design and stylish exterior. Very comfortable.

This car looks good and is great to drive. Easy to maintain and has had no mechanical issues. This car would be a definite smart purchase

I have had no troubles with my VW Jetta. The TDI engine is strong, and loads of power. Great in the city and on the highway. Real world milage I achieved.... 4.3L/100km on the high way. 6.6L/100km in the city. 5.2 Combined City/Hwy Mixed. Have taken it on many long road trips and the trunk is large enough to hold all the gear you would need. Calgary to Las Vegas on 120 L of diesel. WOW!

This is first review I am writing for this car after owning for 3 Years. Overall this is great car if you are looking for Space and some sort of taught handling expected from German cars at lower prise point.

Pros:
• Though not an Audi, but feels and handles like German car.
• Put in Sports mode, and this car is different animal all together.
• Excellent visibility.
• Simple and clean Interior/Dash layout.
• Comfortable seats for long drive.
• Spacious rear room.
• Huge trunk.
• Looks premium car from Side and rear.
• Fairly reliable so far.

Cons:
• Hard plastic is annoying sometimes.
• Infotainment is outdated.
• Front view of the car is like yesterday’s tomorrow.
• Doesn't matter unless you are modifying your car, but not many after-market upgrade options for 2.5l/I5 engine.
• No AC/Heater vents for back seats.

Vehicle handles and drives very nicely. Great economical vehicle that handles like a sports car in sport or tiptronic handling mode.

Love it! great on fuel , amazing handling, lots of torque. Brakes are extremely responsive, turbo is great particularly on the highway and fuel economy is still great even when not nursing the accelerator. Lots of handy features, well laid out and easy to use

Awesome german engineering family vehicle. All of the amenities for one low price, forget when refueled

I have enjoyed every single bit of driving my Jetta. It was a choice between Civic and Jetta and haven't had any regrets since owning it. Amazing German engineering for this size sedan. Foldable seats and a huge cargo space makes it very practical for any driver. I love the gas mileage of an average 550 km per tank (City and Highway combined)

I rate this car 5/5 for its make and price.

This is a great vehicle and handles well out on the road. You will love the comfort and roominess on the inside followed by an attractive look for the exterior.

German Technology is very very reliable these days becuase its powerful and strong = long life .

Fuel economy for this car is unbeatable! I absolutely loved this car I am the single owner and have nothing but great things to say about volkswagens. I bought this car new less than 2 years ago with full intentions of driving it for many years to come. I am only selling because a job change has put me in a truck and I am no longer driving my car.
