2011 Subaru Impreza

Trim: 2.5L Hatchback
by GaryMcCord on 11-26-2016
Great Car
Very good car, the 2.5L gives you enough speed to accelerate quickly and pass people if needed. Very large amount of cargo room with the hatchback and overall the car is awesome.

Pros:
2.5L Boxer engine is very nice
AWD is very good in snow and rain
Looks good on the outside
Large amount of cargo space
Very reliable and parts are relatively cheap.

Cons:
Cheap looking interior with lots of plastic
Very poor sound system (I replaced the speakers and got a deck for around $500 and it's so much better now)
Fuel economy is poor but that's expected in a AWD car.

My car is currently at around 122,000KM and theres not much ive had to do to it except, change the brakes, change the tires, the usual oil changes and a front headlight.

2011 Subaru Impreza

Trim: 5-door Sport
by the_greenry on 04-22-2016
No regrets
I've had my hatchback for 5+ years. No buyers regret. Going to drive it into the ground.

The amazing:
Cargo room! got 2 bikes, few cases of beer, and bookshelf
AWD with winter tires saved my life a couple times
5 speed manual transmission are solid as a rock

The Good:
Reliable. I had a electrical problem with my front turn signals in year 2, got it fixed...otherwise no issues.
I like the look of my car
It's a comfortable cabin, soft bolstered seats.
The 2.5L boxer has enough power to do most things even light towing

The Bad:
Fuel economy, highway was decent 7L/100km, city driving though 11ish
Cabin materials, hard plastics everywhere
The entertainment system was underwhelming. I didn't get the NAV cause when I tested it was lo-res, laggy, and AWFUL

Built like a little tank!
Dependable , reliable and fun to drive especially in winter.
I own the four door sedan 2.5i sport and think that the styling is so much nicer than the hatch. Never had any issues with the car in the three years that I've owned it.

It's a wonderful car!
Owning this Subaru was honestly an amazing experience. It drives so smoothly and offers a lot of comfort for a small-size vehicle. Driving it was excellent and it is very safe in the winter-time.

It's a terrific ride
Amazing feel and smooth yet powerful drive. Very spacious and driver friendly. Car has amazing control during heavy storms, rain and on icy roads. The A/C and heater work very quick and defoggers also kick in right away! I love Subarus!

Trim: 2.5i Hatchback Sport Package

Nothing is class compares...ridiculous value.
We looked at every legitimate compact car in the class. We have only owned Toyota's but weren't happy with the cars in the this class. We needed AWD and wanted Japanese. It was a no brainier to go with this car. The ride is MILES better than anything we test drove due to the softer feel that comes with a rally car heritage. The fact the car had AWD, a power sunroof, heated windshield wipers, heated heats, Bluetooth, Satellite radio, a USB connection, a great sound system and is built by Toyota and has a great resale value put it so far ahead of the pack that it's amazing other cars can compete.

Decent Transportation
Good utilitarian car with some nice amenities. AWD system is second to none, almost impossible to get this car stuck. Good handling car, but could use a few more hp. Fit and and finish leaves a little to be desired with squeaks and rattles setting in in first 2 years. Bluetooth system is extremely frustrating, almost impossible to use with more than one phone and often gets so much static it is unuseable. Great all year round A to B car, but lacks some of the refinements of its competition.

Has a lot of "get up and go."
Car is fairly comfortable, with a very consistent performance. It accelerates at a very comfortable, yet fast pace. Stylish and handles very well in winter climates.

Subaru delight
The size of this compact went up compared to previous model years...which means a bit more space in an already fun reliable automobile.

The nice digital guages (in red) make it a pleasure for the eyes to drive at night. Subaru also fixed the awkward cup holder locations in this car compared to previous years.

The AWD means rain or shine, snow or mud, you will always be in control of your ride.

Really enjoyed driving this car.
