Very economical car for comutting purposes
The car is extremely reliable. Cost effective with respect to gas mileage. The only downside is the fact that the interior is a bit cramped when you have more than 3 people in it and the cost for repairs is expensive. Overall it is best for daily driving to and from work.

Just not reliable
Since I bought this car five years ago, so many things have gone wrong. I'm keeping on top of the repairs, but after having a Toyota I find this car a disappointment.

2002 Volkswagen Beetle

No Problems in 15 years
My car has been pretty much problem free in the 15 years I've owned it. I have had it serviced regularly at the VW dealer, replaced the battery twice, replaced the alternator once and have had a few minor cosmetic touch ups. Otherwise, nothing to complain of.

Love this car!
I've been so pleased with my Beetle, it's been a remarkably great year-round vehicle. Dependable and toasty warm in the winter and so sporty and fun the balance of the year. Regret having to sell but not so easy for transporting my senior parent! :)

An experience to ride
My last 6 years with this car has been my 6 favourite years. I bought the car in 2010 when I was 23 years old and from then on, my life literally changed for the better. This car gave me a sense of freedom and independence and has never let me down. Great in the winter and obviously amazing in the spring/summer. To be honest the only reason why I am selling this sweet and awesome car is because I am going travelling for the next couple of years! I have truly enjoyed my time with her and hope to spread the joy to someone else looking for am experience in a car....not just a car ;)

I love my Bug!
The evolution of the VW Beetle. 2014 R-Line is an amazing Car. My father and I own one! It is way better Car than any other( including my air-cooleds) I have ever owned. By far my favorite automobile.

Amazing Experience
It's my first convertible car and i love it. On top of that, it's an automatic.
You can enjoy the full potential of this car every single day of the year. During the summer, it's convertible and during the winter the seats are heated. Highly recommended.

economical transportation

GREAT CAR!
This car is reliable and amazing in snow! Despite it being close to the ground, it handles very well in icy conditions. Yes it is small but it will get you from point A to point B with no problems.

Great first car to have teen learning to drive a manual. Safe and reliable, very good in the snow.
Great first car, learned to drive a stick while completing University with this car. Very good in all weather conditions. Very good on gas. Very reliable German engineering.

2003 Volkswagen Beetle

Trim: Turbo S

Iconic symbol is a blast to drive
Having owned the Turbo S version it is a sweet ride. It is not a slow poke. It shifts gears tightly and launches off the line.
I have beaten a BMW 335i off the line quite easily.
Not really good for hauling 2x4 from home depot though you could put 2 kids in the back. The power to weight ratio is excellent. However after 10 years things will require more care.

Reliable vehichle
I have had a lot of trips to Muskoka in this car and I get compliments wherever I go. When I tell them the age of the car people are shocked because it looks like new.

Fun, safe, practical
Very easy to drive, excellent unobstructed view from any seat in this car. Great get up and go, reliable and easily seen by any other car, so very visible. Wonderful first car, or reliable second car, either way, it is a fun car to get around in.

Little bug with huge potential
Little "bug" is very reliable, easy to operate, easy to park and great in winter!!! if you need to carry bulky items this little beauty can be your best friend. The space inside is comparable to big SUV and is way larger than regular sedan. Big doors let you see around the vehicle and blind spots easily. Lots of room for a tall person, both driver and passenger. This is a great car!!

Excellent Ride

GLC - Great Little Car.
Great performance on the highway. The turbo gives it a lot of power in passing and in the mountains. Easy to put the top up and down as it is all automatic. Soak up the summer sun with this super little convertible. Heated seats for winter comfort. Very good sound system. Wired for sirius radio.

Fun, Economical and a Pleasurable Drive
This car is absolute delight to drive. I turn heads everywhere I go as there is no other car like it in Victoria, or wherever I go on the island. People always want to talk about my beetle, how great the colour is and too many people want to borrow it on sunny days! You rarely have to fill it with gas and shifting through the five speeds is a great driving experience.
