Available Trims
Audi offers the Q3 in Komfort, Progressiv and Technik trim levels. All use a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine with 40 and 45 designations indicating different performance levels, an eight-speed transmission, and all-wheel drive.
Standard Features
New to the Q3 Komfort's list of standard features are a power tailgate, passive keyless entry, and a heated steering wheel.
You also get 17-inch alloy wheels, auto on/off LED headlights and taillights, and heated side mirrors. Inside, there's a power driver's seat, heated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic A/C, panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, 10-speaker audio, and a digital gauge cluster.
Standard safety items include pre sense basic/front with pedestrian detection, and tire pressure monitoring.
Progressiv trim adds 18-inch wheels (19-inch in Progressiv 45), aluminum interior accents, new-for-2022 ambient lighting, a power front passenger seat, front-seat power lumbar, an auto-dimming mirror, and a garage door remote.
Finally, Technik adds power-folding/auto-dimming side mirrors and driver's seat memory (both new this year), an upgraded digital gauge display, navigation, traffic sign recognition, Bang & Olufsen audio, and a top-view camera.
Key Options
A navigation package includes a touchscreen upgrade, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
The advanced driver assist pack bundles adaptive cruise and automatic high beams; you can add a hands-on detection function that comes with active cruise and traffic jam assists.
Fuel Economy
Audi's fuel consumption estimates for the Q3 are 10.4/7.7 L/100 km (city/highway) in its 40 configuration, and 11.4/8.3 L/100 km for the 45 version.
Competition
With the Q3, Audi competes with the BMW X1 and X2, the Mercedes-Benz GLA, Volvo XC40, Cadillac XT4, Lexus UX, and Land Rover Evoque.
