Available Trims
Hyundai offers the Ioniq 5 in Essential Standard Range and Preferred Standard Range trim levels. Both start with a single rear-mounted motor; Preferred can be optioned with a Long Range battery pack that adds power and driving range, while an available dual-motor Long Range AWD setup sacrifices some range in favour of a more significant power boost.
Standard Features
Essential trim comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, all-LED exterior lighting, heated side mirrors, 12.3-inch touchscreen and gauge displays, six-speaker audio, navigation, a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, dual-zone A/C, adaptive cruise with stop-and-go, and passive keyless entry.
Preferred brings a six-way manual front passenger seat (replacing a four-way chair), a heat pump for more efficient winter cabin heating, a battery heating system, and a heated steering wheel.
Essential’s driver assist package comprises automatic high beams, rear parking sensors, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping assist, lane follow assist, driver attention warning, safe exit assist, and a basic highway driving assist system.
Key Options
Preferred trim’s option is an expensive Ultimate package. It bundles 20-inch wheels, power-folding side mirrors, remote parking assist, upgraded highway drive assist functionality, surround view and blind view cameras, intersection turning assist, rear collision mitigation, rain-sensing wipers, a hands-free tailgate, wireless phone charging, eight-speaker audio, a power front-passenger seat, ventilated front and heated rear seats, a head-up display, ambient lighting, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Hyundai’s energy consumption estimates for the Ioniq 5 are 1.8/2.4 Le/100 km (city/highway) for the Long Range model, 1.9/2.5 Le/100 km for Standard Range versions, and 2.1/2.7 Le/100 km in Long-Range AWD configuration.
