Toyota's Mild-Mannered Vehicles Get Dressed Up for Adventure with SEMA Woodland Concepts
Toyota is going all in on adventure at the 2026 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas by gearing up some of its more mild-mannered vehicles to tackle trails with the rugged Woodland treatment.
The point of these concepts is to show what a consistent, off-road-oriented trim package might look like on some unexpected vehicles if the automaker decided to offer it. Although the automaker already offers vehicles with a Woodland package, this is a slightly more extreme and different expression of the rugged look.
On the show floor, Toyota has presented the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sienna, bZ, and Crown Signia Woodland concepts to show that even urban crossovers can hit the trail.
All models are painted Horizon Blue, a colour inspired Toyotas of the 1960s, such as the Stout, Crown, and Corona. They also all get black lowlights on the wheel arches, grilles, and hood — a popular off-roaders’ trick, intended to help prevent glare from reflecting off the hood and into a driver’s eyes. All also get lift kits, satin-black wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, roof racks, cross bars, and more.
Unfortunately, the vehicles are all concepts at the moment, with no indication from Toyota that these will make it onto showroom floors any time soon. However, the vehicles hint at how popular ruggedized trim offerings have become and suggest that the automaker is at least curious about how far it can push the concept and may not limit itself to the usual suspects.
