Honda Civic 1976-2017Change

Pros: Light,& crisp- great handling, easy to drive, short turning circle, seats are comfortable and provide good back support, nice interior dash layout, great mpg, 30 city/ 36 hwy, and decide get up and go power.

Cons: A little noisy in the interior, rear coil springs are way to weak, could improve suspension stiffness b/c ride is a little harsh- and you can literally feel every bump or dip in the road.

could be better in terms of design, otherwise works like charm. I switched from Nissan and Honda wins by all means, even i kept it very rough its still tough and every bit works.
The bad thing is i can see some rust maybe my fault.

The car isn't that big. You got alot of places but when you get to sleep in it and you are a family of 4 it's very tiny.

It been 6 since I have purchased my Honda Civic and it has been the best car I ever bought. it is fuel efficient when driving on the highway, which I use everyday. It had the least amount of problem since I have bought it.will last me for many more years. I recommend this car.

Most people will know what it's like to drive a Civic. Simple, reliable and basic. The Si trim, however, is quite distinctly a cut above. The Si pulls faster and harder, accelerating to your desired speed quite often before you're even aware of it. Its stiffer suspension allows for harder cornering than other Civics, while still offering a level of comfort that won't have you reaching for a bag to vomit into.
The interior is relatively spartan, without too many luxuries, although it feels very comfortable. Alcantara with red stitching armrests and seats give a nice touch. The audio system, with its 7 speakers (6+Subwoofer) is phenomenal for a car of this size. The radio quality is very clear, or if you would rather listen to your own music, the car comes equipped with Aux and USB connections.
The Si's exterior is subtle, yet aggressive. While looking like most other 8th generation Civics, the addition of the spoiler, side VTEC decals and Si badging make it stand out.

Overall, a very affordable, sporty car. Ready to perform stock from the factory, or usable as a canvas for modifications.

I have owned this car for about three months and i am now selling it, the vehicle has a great engine but there are to many flaws i found that take out its greatness. first of all the electric fuel throttle is terrible and laggyll everything is electric...even up to the power steering.

Been on a 5 year lease since 2008, never let me down once. Cheap maintainance cost, only regular items like oil+filter change, air filter change, tire rotation and a set of new tires at 4th year so far. Silky smooth 5 speed stick shift, great on gas as well of course. Going to buy it out at the end of lease, that's how satisify I am with my honda civic dx-g 4 door :)

Great in the summer, not so much in the winter. Stay out of ruts. Front-end is very low and prone to scraping - summer driving is great thoiugh.

Much fun driving it and it has great pick up speed. When you step on the gas it goes plus it is great on gas. The heads up display for the speed is a great feature. Took time getting used to it but now I always look for it in any car i drive

Ive had this car for over 5 years and absolutely love it. Not once have I had a problem with it. Its great on gas, usually fills up with around $50, even with the gas prices so high. The tank lasts me for a week and I tend to drive a lot!

I bought a 2005 honda civic in 2011. The car runs great with no major issues. I would say this car is the perfect car for anyone who wants to learn how to drive a stick. This car's fuel efficiency is another reason why I picked this car.

The Civic SI was a very sporty car. Cool and stylish, definitely was trendy from the teens to the young adults. However, I always felt a little unsafe, as I've seem other cars of the same model getting into accidents and their materials just don't seem to be that tough.

i love my car, i get good gas mileage, very dependable, wouldnt want a different car and also is very nice looking

I can actually fit in this car, and I'm 6'1"! I've had very little that has gone wrong with this car so far, and I have well over two hundred thousand km on it. It's been through the city, survived road trips to the rockies, and braved the salt and sandy roads of a Winnipeg winter.

I purchased my Honda second hand from the Honda dealership and have never had a problem with my car since I purchased it 5 years ago. I just absolutely love my car. I get awesome gas mileage and find myself hardly at the gas station (which is great with the current gas prices!)

My car maybe is the most stylish but it works for me. I am considering in getting a bigger car in the next couple of years as I am expecting a baby and would like a bigger car, other than that I would keep my car forever because I like it so much!

i practically "lives" in my car because of my job as the regional manager for a chain restaurant in canada as I have to travel from one unit to another, someday i have to visit at least 8 units in my region and i can easily "deposit" 500 km in the car's kilometer reading..having this particular helps me a lot in saving money in gasoline...

A great looking car! Economical, roomy, reliable and a great transitional car for the small family! I own one and still drive it today (so does my son) and we also have a new one as well. The civic rules in this house.

Excellent fuel economy and never have a big mechanical problem.This is a perfect car who look cool for student with many possibilities of personalization.

I love this car. I have had to do some work on it. It is reliable, fun to drive and zip into parking spots with no problem. Yet, people can still sit in the back.. and I have a decent sized trunk for having a smaller type car. I will probably purchase another civic after this one.

This car has no breakdowns,...always great gas mileage so fueling is seldom,it's so much fun to drive on the highway or in the city because it's low to the ground and handles like a dream. Great car !

Bought this car 3 years ago and so far has been solid. No major problems or repairs other than normal maintenance (oil changes. Had to replace shocks at around 80,000 km due to ride deterioration, would have liked to have them last longer. Other than that, has been not had any other problems. Fuel economy is very good, power is adequate.
