Honda Accord 1982-2016Change

I bought this car in 2000 when I went away to college. 12 years later, I am still driving it everyday without any problems. The odometer is closing in on 120,000 with no mechanical problems at all. I keep up to date with the maintenance. The light behind the clock and odometer went out a couple of years back, but all else is running fine. I will keep this car for another 1-2 years then give it to my sister. Very reliable car. What more can I say!

This car has been inherited through 3 generations - my grandpa, my dad, and now to me. It’s lasted for over 20 years and served us well.
Yes, it does give me a bill every so often with upkeep, but for a car this old it’s performing better than some newer ones I’ve been in.
Modified the radio from the original tape deck, obviously. The sound system itself hasn’t been upgraded ever but is still pretty good for the standard issue.
Nothing is automatic, no auto locks or auto windows, but it does it’s job.
I don’t think it struggles on the highway or when doing hills or mountains.
Here’s to another 20.

Mostly used for highway driving, comfortable, stylish. Top marks ! Fold-down rear seat adds versatility - my (long) skis fir inside the trunk. Easy at the fuel pump and lots of power to get on the autoroute and pass when you want to.

I only have the four cylinder model so that's the down side of it but I am glad that I choose the manual transmission and that helps a lot I have more control on the gear.
Nicely equipt and comfortable seating on all seats, even though the car is twelve years old none of them sagged.
I may say its a rust magnet, so I have a few rusted spots especially by the doors. Overall I love this car and it never lets me down very reliable and it feels safe.

just ripped 4000 kms in 4 days, and this was flawless and comfortable. quiet, and reliable. Good on gas (avg 8L/100k) , and lots of V6 power for passing those pesky tractor-trailers!

When i just purchased this car, i thought it was nice but not that outstanding. after 7 years of operation, i have to say it's a reliable vehicle and i am glad i made a good choice at first place. especially, its fuel economy is great, it costs less gasoline than average. i already made recommendations to several friends, and they all liked it.

Our Honda Accord Wagon has been a great car from day one. We have made great use of the efficient an easy conversion of the back seating area to cargo use many times and love how the seats fold to give a flat area and there is even a spot to place the head rests. Never a moment of trouble with it. This car has low mileage for its age (less than 150,000 km) and we will probably keep it for awhile yet. Complaints--some rust starting above the rear wheels on the back panels (seems to be a problem spot with this vehicle) and the transmission sometimes hunts for the hear. But overall an excellent experience with this vehicle!

First of all, I really love how this car is safe and comfortable to drive. The road seems smooth while driving. Its comfort makes it easier to drive. The exterior and interior seems really nice but it isn't . The price was very cheap, as well. It's comfortable, performs well, inexpensive and good looking which makes it perfect for many people to purchase this car.

Great mileage, comfort and reliablity for this little car.
I feel safe driving it in all weather conditions.

Have a 570 000 k/m motor and still working....!!! Very nice exterior design, and leather interior make it class and clean!.

This car provides me the most comfort, with its super ample leg room, and huge interior space. Control is solid, no shift no slits. Acceleration is also fantastic on the first 200 meters, since its got a V6. But still very fuel efficient, once driven to Detroit, only cost me a full tank, ridiculous! But like all jap cars, this one is light too, so bumpy mumpy is a little bit to expect when u hit countryside.

Nice car which, in spite of the age, still looks good and drives well. I've had a couple of issues with it (gearbox, exhaust system, transmission, brakes...), but nothing surprising for a car of this age (at least the engine still works well).
I wish it was more gas efficient, but I checked the comparison with newer models, and even the 2012 models consume at least as much gas per kilometer.
The interior is fairly comfortable.
I'm probably going to be the last owner of this car, but I kind of like it and hope it can last me a couple more years.

from the moment i got in to the drive home everything was worth the pricetag great gas milage you would be silly not to at lease consider buying this car my experience with it has been nothing more the spectaculer a couple of slieght changes i would make to the interior but thats a matter of taste not a reflection of the car itself

I had my 4 cylinder 95 Accord from 2001 until 2007. It had almost 400,000kms on it when I sold it and was still running great. This car was not well cared for either. It was in a major accident before I bought it, was in another fairly big accident after I bought it, it was stollen by some youths who took it for a joyride and left in a field, and after all this it still developed no significant mechanical problems.

The 94-97 models were smaller Accords but still more spacious than late model Civics. It was great in the snow too. The biggest downside was the body. Like so many Hondas, the back wheel wells rusted out early and repeatedly.

Overall a great, reliable car.

Very nice drive.
But the seats are too low.
For a big man it's kindda hard to put them up.
For a 2003 car at a reasonable price the overal experience that you will get, will be hard to find somewhere else.
4 years I own this car.

I have never had to worry about it breaking down on me. I can always rely on it. Heating is pretty good in the car however air conditioning is not.

Always been a Honda fan. Haven't owned a Honda for a while but recently just picked up a daily driver and forgot how awesome they are. Never break down, good on gas, and solid throughout every automotive checkpoint you can look at.

i have nothing but good things to say about my five speed, out of the many different types of cars i have drove over theses years o have been driving nothing has even come close to my Honda.

Excellent reliable and good handling car, 2.4l is very fuel efficient powerful 4 cylinder. Entry level is very plain stripped down with an awful stereo system. Be prepared for road noise.

I have inherited this car and was not my choice in the first place. I prefer European cars and modern design. After driving it for couple of years I have to admit this is the best car ever. I could not find a single thing that is not good about HA. it is not a luxury car and the design is not oustanding but value for the money invested is incredible. There are number of Honda's on the road but I think this is the best car in their fleet.

the only reason I bought this car is reliability. bought it with low K and no mechanical problem and been good so far( I am an aggressive driver). happy that didn't spend the money on newer one.

i really like this car its my third and not my last honda. I think is the best price quality car
