Toyota Corolla 1972-2017Change

I have owned 2 of these... they are reliable as anything and fairly easy to maintain. Yeah, in the days of hybrids the fuel economy isn't great... but if you can only afford a $3000 car this one will make it worth your while.

Not a bad car. It's good on gas, it looks decent on the inside and outside, and it's a good family car. Although it is not the most comfortable.

The ride is smooth.
I'm not sure if it was just the car I was riding but the car was fairly noisy as in could hear the traffic and tires.
Never had a problem starting at -35 4 years in a row.
fairly small interior but it has a lot of trunk space. at least compared to my old car.
Filled the tank twice on a cross Canada trip about 1300 km.
Half decent stereo system I don't know how hard it is to replace as I have never tried.

The Toyota Corolla I own was priced well and runs great. Very few problems except one major repair. Last year the tranmission went, it ground the gears and metal shards filled the trany. I was told this is extremely unusual for this car but it happened to me and required a new transmission which was $2000...

I have not had any major issues whatsoever with my toyota corolla so far. It has great fule economy, and I havent had to make any major repairs in the time i've had it. For the price it is well wort it and I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a average reliable vehicle.

I have been driving this corolla for a few years now without any major problems. Not a flashy car by any means but gets me from point A to B easily. Only complaint is it is pretty tight in the inside, it fits five but never comfortably. This car is good for a couple with maybe one child. The car has decent pep when wanting to speed up on the highway and a great brake system as well. I would recommend this car to others looking for an economical ride.

Toyota Corolla's are known to be reliable, very economic with fuel, and well priced so i'm glad to say that i got what i was looking for.

The external appearance of the Corolla can be viewed as a bit plain and boring. Personally i drive the "S" (sport) model which includes a side skirt and rear spoiler that makes it stand out a little more than the many other Corolla's out there.

The internal appearance is also a bit boring since it consists of mainly upholstery and a matte plastic material. No leather or chrome to be found here. Dials are well placed and nothing seems out of place.

Overall the Corolla is a nice and comfortable ride for the consumer on a budget where fuel economy stands out as being important.

I love the fuel economy it was very nice to drive, i took it on a road trip with my uncle and yeah we stoped and had lunch and stuff it was great ! the seats are hard ( sad face ) there was no leg room , it was builded for small people and im a big guy so yeah there was very little room but the price of gas its a good buy ( happy face )

This car has been in the family since it was brand new and we have never had a problem with it in 13 years. Any repairs have only been the typical parts that need to be replaced every so many kilometres (ie spark plugs, brake pads). Never had any serious issue with it. Always starts with no problem, even in the winter when it's -20 degrees out. It is also excellent on gas, better than my boyfriend's Civic. I am very happy with my Toyota and would definitely look there first when it is time to get a new car.

We bought this car quite recently, and it was used. At first I wasn't too expectant of the way it would perform, but it was soon revealed to me that this was the most reliable car I'd ever owned. I've gone on roadtrips with this baby and learned quite a lot from it. I never want to give it up.

Toyota Corolla is a great little car. It's reliable and comfortable... it's just right. I've never once had any trouble with this make of car. This car is perfect for a family car and I'm not the only one who likes it.

Not a fancy car, and the seats are not too comfortable, so don't take a road trip in this car. But you can get really good mileage out of it. So if you want a budget car that's reliable to drive around the city, this is a good choice.

I've had this car for more than 10 years and have still been continuing to use it. I didn't need to change the car because there was absolutely no problems with it. It is great on the interior and exterior, simple and easy to use. I believe that it is cheap and is definitely worth the price.

dissapointed with the fuel economy not what the sales person had said it would be. i know its never accurate but he wasn't even close! always the last person onto the highway no pick up at all. on the plus side it does seem reliable to this point but I bought it for the fuel economy if i had known I would have chosen something a bit more fun to drive. my friends refer to my silver corolla as the "old man mobile" Would be a great car if i was in my 60's rather than my 30's

I was the proud owner of a '93 Ford Escort and loved my little car, but with the new girlfriend and a possible new baby on the horizon, I had to change cars. So I shopped around and decided to go with the Toyota Corolla. I knew of Toyota's reliability and fuel efficiency from my uncle's Tercel and then Echo and decided I wanted in on this.

I was not disappointed. This car gives out very good mileage on a full tank of gas, especially in the busy Montreal suburbs area, all around Montreal. It's also quite confortable and gives plenty of room for my little family to feel safe and confortable at the same time.

It may not pack the same "oomph" as other cars in this category, but the safety features and reliability of this car far exceeds any need for "ooomph". It's a nice "small" family car, perfect for the current gas price situation and especially if you have to drive several kilometers to get to work.

It offers a good, honest ride and will not let you down.

its no Mercedes but it'll get you from A to B.
I had the car for 2 years and have only had to replace the break pads, which is normal for a car that old. it cost me around 40 dollars to fill it up every time and lasted me for weeks.

Being as old as it is it's still the best car ever. It's reliable as ever. It got us to Boston and back even though before the trip it started falling a part a little bit. It's not the most stylish car but it's comfy and performs well. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Toyota's car are the best type of cars there are.

quite, good, but the fact is sometimes it is junky or is hard to use in the immediate moment. it is also somewht fragile and one wheel cover came off while I was driving. Otherwise, the design is good but could use a little more space and more creature comforts like upgraded stereo, seats etc.

Purchased this car in June and it is the best Toyota I have owned.
They made some nice improvements in the layout of the interior. For example, you can now see the time and the temperature at the same time. They have also reduced significantly any noise from the interior.
Really great body lines on the exterior.

This car is absolutly one of the best cars out there. The car is very fuel friendly, exterior design is very cute and beautiful and this car is very very reliable!! highly reccoment this car when it comes to safety and reliability!

I don't like this car because it is so boring ... and yet the reliability of this car has paid itself over and over. Twelves years of ownership and I have only had to pay for new breaks in it's 12th year.

Yes it is a boring car but it starts up every day and gets me where I want to go with no question. It's not the best handling but if you know it's limits, you can race the car and surprise everyone on the road that thinks they have a better car.

The car is great in terms of actual efficiency, but it isn't flashy or something you can show off. For someone that is looking for a cost efficient car, the Toyota Corolla is an excellent choice.

Overall, good experience with excellent gas mileage and inexpensive to maintain. Oil changes every 7, 000 kilometers and some minor repairs. A little harsh on tires as I am about to put my third set on.
