Dodge Avenger 2008Change

it had many issues with it. such as the throttle code went wrong it had some leaking issues and it had some electrical problems. I advise people to stay far away from avengers. unless you want to spend some money fixing it

No issues in body or mechanical with this car. Very dependable vehicle with no safety concerns at all.

This is a sporty looking vehicle and does at times turn a few heads. I have owned mine for 6 years and have always enjoyed driving this fun vehicle.

Great on the hi-way. Fun in the city. Seats 4 or five comfortably. Powerful and Responds well. The car has been with us for over a year and a half. It is extremely easy to drive and easy to park. Large trunk holds all you will ever need.

Absolutely love this car. Powerful V6, easily overtakes anyone I need to pass. Looks and feels like a race car, but has all the luxury items I could ever want. I could live in this car. Gas mileage not great if you tend to speed too much, but that's pretty much to be expected.

its been a reliable car since I purchased it 5 years ago nothing major has ever gone wrong with the car a great car to have.

Great fuel economy (2.4L engine) and a roomy, sporty interior.

With regular maintenance this car has lasted me 7 years and almost 200,000km with no major issues.

I would recommend it to other buyers, and would consider a new Avenger (however, for work I need an SUV.)

This is by far my favorite car. I would not be selling it if I wasn't about to have a baby and in need of a mini van.

Great car for motorway driving, economical, comfortable,
please to drive in all weather conditions.
Cooper tires make for great road holding in both wet and dry conditions.
Touch screen audio with wide screen makes for easy listening and changing of stations, hands free mode allows ease of answering phone calls when on the move.
Great trunk space for those longer trips and ample room in the rear seats.

good car with reliable driving, no problems all time if you treat it fine, with a snow tire makes it pretty smooth in the winter,
hwy fuel economy was pretty good, city is just ok,
comfort driving experience, nice car for family.

I have had this vehcile for the past five years with no major issues. The car rides fairly smoothly compared to other mid size cars I have driven. I like the style and comfort of the car. although I have the seat warmer and is now not working not sure what the problem is with that. The fuel milage could be a little better than what it is but overall it is not awful. the only other issue that I have with the car is I have a spoiler on the trunk and I think it is due to this that after a rain when I lift the trunk water runs into the trunk usually getting me wet. Overall I would reccomend this car.

I bought this car in october 2008, ive had absolutely no problems with it that couldnt be fixed easily and under warrenty. My only complaint is the odd 17" tire that costs a slight bit more when its time for new ones (i just purchased my second set mar 2013).

We bought this 2008 V6 R/T AWD model about a year ago when it had 41,000kms. As a second family car to our Chrysler Pacifica. We LOVE this car. The R/T is very quick on acceleration and makes for a fun ride. It looks sporty and the interiors 2 tone leather makes us feel like it's a much more expensive car. It's loaded with features including heated seats, a 6 disc CD/DVD player and a Boston audio sound system. Even has a but of an engine growl when accelerating. The fuel economy isn't as great as other cars it's size simply because of it's AWD feature. But for the extra traction in the winter months it's a decent trade.

I went shopping for a truck, but one test drive of this car and I was sold. I have the SXT, I love it!!! Can still fit the kids in the car, and the Hockey bag in the trunk. The seats are roomy, comfortable and for those of us that need a little extra room it is a perfect fit. It looks good, sporty but with four doors. It is great to drive around town and out on the highway it handles like a dream. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a family car with a little "flair"!

very dependable and a very smooth driving car. good power with exceptional fuel mileage. the interior is understated and simplified in a way that makes the controls easy to find and manipulate. very quiet, theres no outside noise invading the cabin. very enjoyable car to drive.

I own a black avenger. I have had almost no problems with this car. One time while passing on a two lane highway the accelerator got stuck, I had to hit the brakes and shut the car off. Turned out it was just a computer problem and it never happened again. A little scary but nothing a driver shouldn't be able to easily overcome. All I did was apply the brake.
The car handles great, had great gas mileage, plenty of head room in the front and back. Loved this car except...it has a gigantic blind spot! It has such a large blindspot I would not even consider buying any dodge with similar modelling. I have to merge onto a highway every morning for work. I check my mirrors, shoulder check twice each and then slowly merge over hoping no car is there. I have had angry people honk and shake their fist at me for almost hitting them. Through no fault of my own, just they were in my blind spot while I was merging, and unfortunately for dodge that blind spot is massive. Just so we're clear though, it is a fantastic car other than the giant blind spot. Deal breaker for me though when considering my next car.

I find that is much more of a luxary car than the sports car it tries to emulate. it is very comfortable but last third of the gas pedal adds absolutely nothing to acceleration and barelly anything to speed

This is a bit long for a first car but i am completely satisfied with it. It has a boston music system which is absolutely amazing. This car has a lot of muscle power! You can just hear the engine roar as soon as you press on the gas. I one thing it lacks is leather seating. If it had leather seating I would easily keep this car for more than 5 years But I require leather seat because the seats I have now tend to get dirty as my kids get messy.

This is by far one of the most reliable cars we have owned. The ride is comfortable. Good looking car. Filled all the needs of our family. Even the dog liked it!

I bought my car brand new and now it is 5 years old. It has not left me stranded except when it ran out of gas which is my fault....there is warning ding lol!!

This car is stylish, comfortable and ride extremely smooth...especially likes 401 speeds.

Maybe i just got a Lemon but this car has been a nightmare. Has no power and is very loud. Whenever it rains i clunks out. I would not promote this car to anyone.

The performance of this car is excellent espically when you want to overtake it has that extra give to it just waiting for your command,adding to the comfort of the seats are design to contour to your body for good posture.Winter time is a blast with the dodge Avenger never sticks because of the ground cleaance this car has. Overall this car is very reliable.

I would reccomend this vehicle to buy not sure about the newer models but would definetely think about buying again when it comes time to replace this vechile. The ride is fairly smooth as with any sporty type vechile. The best is all the options available on this car absolutely love the heated seats which in my opinion should be in all cars. There is lots of head room in this car compared to the Malibu or impalla which were also on the short list of cars to buy.
