great van but extremely hard on gas. Not a good vehicle for a long journed. However, it is a reliable van with lots of room for my family

I have owned this van for a few years now and it is just like the title says "it is a mini van after all" It has been very good for our needs with its roomy interior. When you take the seats out (which is awkward) you can pile a lot of suff in it.

The van runs very well. we have had little to no problems with the motor and fuel economy is par for the size.

It has been a very reliable vehicle. Good for transporting lots of people. Also it is very good for moving cargo. it gets me around town or out of town or on a trip or to work and home again. I like how the rear seats come out in the back for bigger loads. The seats are comfortable to sit on . The part in the engine are easy to find and to get to. Filling up fuids like wind shield washer fliud , oil . transmission fluid is easily accessable. Changing light bulbs is easy.
I would recommend the vehicle for family or transport use. It is very reliable and does the job very well . All in all, a good vehicle.

This vehicle has been serving our needs adequately as a family. It really hasn't cost too much in repairs all things considered. I would like to get better gas mileage but for the price I'm fairly satisfied. It has run reliably considering it's age. I don't put excessive mileage on it. My main complaint about it is how quickly the running boards rust out. If you have one of these vehicles make sure you get it undercoated. You'll get a lot more out of it than you would otherwise.

it rides well and theres not really any problems besides the a/c doesnt work well but other then that its good

i have used this van for the last 5 years it has done well for its age i have kept up on reg maintenance, do no really big repairs

We are a family of 8 and its hard to find a comfortable van when we are all going somewhere. Honestly, I will take the pain of the seat design for the comfort. Many of the other 8 passenger vans have that 7 and 8th seat so small and hard the kids don't want to sit in it. Its almost like the makers forget that they aren't in car seats their whole lives. Great van for long trips. Just keep up with the fix ups, get good seat covers, you'll need them.

This car is a okay car for your daily driver its very basic though and not many amenities, How ever it is very dependable giving little mechanical trouble over the years. with a 17-20MPG highway range

a lot of maintenance, good run for my money lots of room good for moving, easy seat removal and re installing,parts are a little expensive parts are in weird places.

I love my Chevy Venture. We bought it 5 years old with 75000kms. It drives very nice and smooth and we got approx 900km to a tank of gas! I love the DVD entertainment system and the power sliding door. The only major problem we had was the head gasket, which those vans are notorious for. It was about a $1400 fix. Otherwise, this was a great van! It was written off after a collision and we were very sad to see it go. It will be hard to replace.

There has been no issues other than regular oil changes and a little brake work since I have had this vehicle.....would definitely recommend this to a friend!!

I definately would buy another chevrolet venture. It has been a great vehicle for us. Very low maintenance while still providing comfort and reliablity. Currently have over 300,000 kms and the motor is still running great, Starts right up in -40, Canadian winter LOL

lots of ponys, will spin the tires. doesnt like snow or ice though, its a little rusted on the skirts but no serious issues, definatly not a cool looking vehicle but will give you your moneys worth

this is great in many ways, we have a farm and many times i carry feed bags and salt home. the van is roomy and very comfortable

the chevrolet venture is a excellent vechile for a large family easy on gas good suspension it is roomy great safety features powered windows and doors roomy back compartment the chevy venture is a classy vechile with lots of mileage

I never thought you'd ever catch me driving a minivan but I could not do without mine now. From the extra haulage space to the travel comfort it is the best thing for our family. My kids are full grown now and now they are no longer pinned to each other in the back seat. And don't get me started on the amount of newspapers I can load into it. :)

I'm onto 11 years and it is still serving my family well. Not sure how much longer as it is starting to show some rust in the last 3 years, and I'm getting some leaking from around the windshield through the overhead dash

great vehicle to load up to go to the cottage, haul the crew to soccer or help move into college dorm! You never run out of room with this vehicle and it's good on gas.

She's a little over 300,000 km and overall has been a pretty good vehicle. Has had little problems and anything that has gone wrong (water pump) has been fairly cheap to repair. It's not a fancy van, but it's a comfortable van that has taken our family from point A to point B and back again many many times. My only complaint is that we've never been able to figure out how to make the interior light turn on when the doors are opened. Besides that little inconvenience it's an awesome van and I would definitely consider another Venture when we purchase our next vehicle.

Other than the usual problems with the 3.4L engine ( intake gaskets, head gaskets ) this is an extremely reliable van with tons of room inside. The intake and head gasket problems can be simply repaired by pouring a bottle of sodium silicate into the cooling system after draining the Dex-Cool out and refilling back up with good old green ethylene-glycol antifreeze. The dual sliding doors are a bonus as I use this as a work van. Plenty of parts around for them at very reasonable prices. The previous owner of mine had replaced the engine with one from a GrandAm GT and even with 1200lbs of tools in it it'll fly. Mine is at 305,000kms and counting. Largest drawback I see with it is the tendency for the rocker panels to rust out while there is no rust anywhere else on the van.

The Van in question has had some extensive electrical component failures, Main one being a connection in which the pins have completely disintegrated, there by losing fuel pump power. this electrical block is exposed to the underside of the car.

This van is fantastic for a big family. It offers and extended cab for that large family. It's great for camping, traveling, and grocery shopping. As the kids get older, both sliding doors are useful, especially when they are ready to get out.

Runs hot, always has but seems reliable. Don't seem to have near the same space as my last van. Could have more cargo space and nicer seats. The window tinting is also very light and not nice and dark like I"m used to. The van is very box like and rather tin can like as well.
