Chevrolet Venture 2002Change

Enjoyed this Van. Good on the Highway and in the city. Very comfortable to ride in and to drive. Also good for carrying extra things for ball games and picnics! Was my first Van and really liked it,,,,,have bought another newer one!

This is a reliable vehicle and lots of space for a family. Never break on road. So, I must say reliable. Very comortable and good on gas. Parts are very economical.

Car runs and drives excellent, Suspension is nice and tight. Steering is also great with no noticeable signs of wear

I used this car to boost my wife's 2005 mitsubishi in the middle of winter when my car wasn't plugged in! Always started, has never let me down! I had to buy a new van because of comestics because I am a personal chef and needed a vehicuke that looked a little nicer and newer. If not, I would keep it!

Good comfort and a lot of space. Smooth ride and good visibility and handling. V6 3.4L is powerful enough and smooth but major known problem with the Venture with both gasket that will have to be changed around 100 000 KM or before. Problems also with the electrical circuits sealing which will cause problems with elctrical functions inside and exterior lights.

Car to be considered if have a really good bargain and the majors issues have been solved already. Avoid if you don't like to DIY on your car.

She's a little over 300,000 km and overall has been a pretty good vehicle. Has had little problems and anything that has gone wrong (water pump) has been fairly cheap to repair. It's not a fancy van, but it's a comfortable van that has taken our family from point A to point B and back again many many times. My only complaint is that we've never been able to figure out how to make the interior light turn on when the doors are opened. Besides that little inconvenience it's an awesome van and I would definitely consider another Venture when we purchase our next vehicle.

The Van in question has had some extensive electrical component failures, Main one being a connection in which the pins have completely disintegrated, there by losing fuel pump power. this electrical block is exposed to the underside of the car.

Nice spacious and comfortable ride, took us all over the country. Never had major problems with it but once it started rusting, it melted right before your eyes. I wished I undercoated it from the start but I've been told Chevy used bad metal to start with so it might not have made a difference. Getting rid of it after 12 plus years of enjoyment as it is unsafe to ride anymore.

This is a very good family car lots of space and very reliable.
It can also be used as a work car by taking out all of the seats
It is not as good as a BMW but it is also much cheaper.
