2012 Subaru Forester Touring Sport
It's a hit here at home! Having come to the end of the line of our minivan, it was time for a replacement. We did our homework, and come to the conclusion that it would be too much of a culture shock to go into a compact, which in this day of rising gas prices, seemed like the smart, practical thing to do. So, with a test drive, we were sold on the value provided by the Forester. The seats are very comfortable. And the fact that the material is stain resistant makes them perfect for our family. The interior is laid out nicely, and all controls are easy to reach. Although, I've questioned why the USB connection is buried in the console, and tough to get at. The ride is quiet, and it handles well. This is the sport model, so it also provides the "manumatic" option, which will most likely get limited use within our household. This being a demo model, there were also options that were added for show. Probably not things that we would have added otherwise, they're nice additions. The sport shifter, foglights, silver coloured rails on roof, chrome door handles, rear bumper protector. All nice to have, but not sure I'd add to the bottom line with the option list. All in all, we're very pleased with our Subaru. In fact, having driven the Crosstrek XV, there may be another Subaru in our driveway in the future.
