Subaru Forester 2004Change

I'm going to start by saying I've owned 3 or 4 Subaru's. Ranging from 2002-2010. This is by far the most reliable one I have owned (2004). It currently has 347,000km on it. All original with the only real repairs being Water Pump + Timing Belt at 165,000. Brakes, Oil changes, and an o2 sensor last year.
All winter, flawless handling, nothing will compare. 600KM on a full tank that costs about 40$ to fill. Roof racks to carry snowboards, fold down rear seats with LOTS of cargo room. The motor is not as peppy as the WRX or STi, but it is far from sluggish at 175hp.
I would recommend Subaru to anybody looking for a great Daily driver, or just a temporary winter vehicle.

Very good and reliable compact SUV AWD. Runs perfectly under winter condition. It is fuel economy. I have never had any issues with the engines.

Had this car for 10 years with very few issues. Has good handling a pretty good gas mileage (for an AWD). Now starting to show its age but what can you expect? I would buy another one.

It's been a perfect car for nearly ten years... No matter the weather, road conditions, or obstacles, this car was a great, safe vehicle throughout...

Love this peppy little SUV. Handles daily tasks and loads with ease. I bought for performance and versatility which it delivers everday. Used mostly as second vehicle but we also tow behind our motorhome. Reliable and versatile car we count on once we land our rig in distant states.
I added extra instrumentation (including boost gauge) to monitor performance. Leaving out a boost gauge for a turbo engine of this capability was a big factory mistake.

No problems but have only 56000 miles on it after 10 years

Simple, honest, and reliable SUV. Never get stuck or slide on a slippery road. Transport people, cargo, tow a trailer anywhere you go.

I love this car. If it werent for the fact that my 3 boys are now to big for everyone to comfortably sit without anyone touching we ,wouldnt be selling.
Its quick, easy handling, low to the ground and ploughs through any type of Canadian weather without any stress or worry.

Through horrible snows, rough rains, and hard winds this car as rode on ! Heated seats in the winter keep things toasty and the back seats easily flip down which makes a drive n theatre all the more fun.
Easy access hatch back with a privacy shield is convenient and secure. The back seats also easily fit 3 kids.
Great family car or single person adventure ride.

For familly or a simple rider like sports driving. It will never despointe you. In all weather you can make all you want with this litle suv. With the xt model you will have a lot of power and it will put a smile in your face every day. You have many option include in the car it can give you confort and don`t forget in all model of Subaru you have the AWD systeme.

The Forester has been incredible. We have driven all over North America with it and it has been nothing but reliable and fun to drive. Lots of room and great performance. In the winter, with studded tires it is absolutely solid. In the summer with the huge sunroof it feels almost like a convertible. Given a choice our kids always ask to go in the Subaru! Aside from needing high octane gas and average mileage (with the turbo engine) we will get another Forester - but we feel this one will run for another 200k km easy.
