Chevrolet Impala 1959-2017Change

the car was very reliable. It was giving me over 30 miles to the Imp. gal. Problem was poor head gaskets. Had them replaced twice on warranty but started leaking oil again after a bit. It leaked a liter per 1000 miles.Did the alt. and water pump and belt. I did put 150000 km. on it thou until son crashed it.

I bought my car used a couple of years ago. after the one month warranty expired the car started giving me trouble. It started when a solenoid went in the steering shaft and I couldn't get my key out! The biggest problem with it is the Check Engine light keeps coming on. It has come on at least once a month since I got it. The light has come on for about a half dozen reasons over that time and I now don't take it to the shop unless the performance is an issue. Oh, and a major annoyance is that the car thinks that there is someone in the passenger seat without their seatbelt on if I put anything on the seat... just my phone will set of the warning!

I love the car alot its roomy and can fit my family in it comfortably handles well and takes turns like a champ very durable highly recommend 10/10

Awesome car, over 326000 and going strong, keep your oil changed regularily, use synthetic because of the high mileage, little to no rust, like the energizer bunny, keeps on going and going, awesome car.

Nice looking on the outside and very roomy on the inside. I love that I can get wi-fi in my car and the touchscreen is pretty awesome to play with. The car gets about 21 mpg and I wish it were a little more but it's still pretty good for a medium-sized car. The huge trunk is also a plus because I have to haul a lot of equipment for my job.

Very Reliable, Great handling and comfort. good fuel economy too! Bought one used and only needed to replace the belt so far. The trunk is huge too!

I love the fact that this car feels like a luxury sedan, but has the fuel efficiency of a more compact car. It's big enough to carry everything I need, and has lots of leg room, but is still easy to manage, park, and drive.

Never had to take the car to the shop for anything other than scheduled maintenance. There was a problem with the electrical wiring to the heated rear window but a google search showed the problem and a bit of soldering fixed that. This car just goes and goes.

Great car for long distance driving. Low on maintenance, good fuel economy. This is the fourth Impala we have owned and have gone as high as 500,000 km on the first one and the other three are still in use. The salt on the Canadian roads make stuff rust out or I'm sure we would get even more out of it. My husband and I drive long distances to work every day and this has been a very reliable car for us to own. We have had four teenagers learn to drive on these cars and they have always come back in one piece.

Not many bells and whistles compared to a lot on the market, but very functional and reliable.
I was actually in an accident with mine just over a year ago with $11,000 damage. That said, I was safe, everything worked the way it should.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, will keep your family safe!

Extremely reliable, but the creaky door can occassionally be an issue. Me and my little brother drive all around the country in ours and it has been through a lot and still keeps running.

This car has lasted many years and has been, for the most part, very reliable. The fuel economy is also efficient.

It's a great car to drive. It has a very powerful engine and accelerates very quickly. The inside is spacious so it's great for having passengers in the back. The trunk space is also very large so we can fit a lot inside. This is especially helpful when we have to pack suitcases for travelling. I like the classy design, since that suits my personality. It may take a little time to get used to the gear options appearing on the dashboard, but once you get used to it, it's nothing. Also, it uses up a lot of gas so it may not be the best for everyday driving when it comes to fuel economy. Otherwise, I love driving this car, and I would most likely go with Chevrolet in the future.

I've had this car for many years and never had a problem with it. Powerful engine and a smooth ride. Highly recommend.

I loved my 59 Impala, and would love to get another one. I had my first date in mine and it was memorable. I traveled across Canada in mine.

17 inch tires are a little pricier than my last vehicle which was a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

My impala has always driven smoothly and gives great fuel economy. Transmissions seem to fail at around 300km

I will always own an Impala. With style and comfort that I can always rely on, Impala gives me the best value for my money as well as enough room for my family. I own a cottage 100 miles from our home and I can always count on our Impala to get us there and back without any major problems in any kind of weather and that's why I give it a four out of five rating.

It's a good car for anyone wanting a car that is easy on the eyes and on the road. It's perfect for a family too. There's enough room for everyone there. Chevvy makes good cars and the Impala proves it.

Extremely comfortable, the Impala is like a luxury car but half the price. It is surprising good on fuel, and the engine is quiet. It is a truly amazing car. I am on my third. They keep getting better and better. I would recommend this car for families and driving enthusiasts of all ages. It is also a very powerful car.

Chevrolet got it right, adequate power, awesome styling, has options that are comparable to 100k cars and beautiful stitch work, very reliable.

Car is in excellent condition, interior is like new as is the drivetrain. Great performance with the 3.6 liter, over 300 horsepower.

Purchased our second Impala due to it's comfort and security on the highway and in the city. It has not let us down, ever!!

I find this car to be a pain to drive. The handling is terrible and it has major blind spots. It has the worst turning radius that I have ever experienced in a car. Parking in tight spaces or making u-turns are almost impossible. The fuel economy is also not as good as I expected.

I have had several minor issues/recalls and one major problem. When I got the car it only had 70,000km and I have only put on about 15,000km. Whenever I apply the breaks I feel them pulsing and the front end of the car shakes violently. Even the steering wheel vibrates and it feel like you might loose control. I currently have it at the dealership being looked at.
