Chevrolet AVEO 5 2008Change

This hatchback offers a lot of pep when out on the highway and is great on mileage within the city. A comfortable vehicule that can easily accommodate 5 passengers.

i bought this vehicle second hand in oct 2012.ive had excellent service this winter.it had 35,oookms ,i like the remote start,the back wiper feature and of course the gas mileage i can fill up for under 40.00 and go 2 wks.excellent for city driving and i like the 4-door feature easy for getting a toddler in and out of car.

The design of this car leaves a lot to be desired, particularly with the comfort of the layout. That's not why you buy this car though. You buy this car for decent mileage in a disposable car. You'll get it. With a little care in how you drive, you can get better than decent even.
The suspension leaves a fair to bit to be desired as well. It has a weak suspension that requires regular maintenance. You'll want to be sure to keep the tires rotated on a regular basis or you will go through a lot of extra rubber.

I love my aveo5, especially the fuel economy.When I was looking to get a new car back in 2008, my main goal was to get something that was comfortable and good on gas as I drive about 32,000KM/year. doing the math, this car was the best bang for my buck. I could have gotten a Toyota or Honda that was better on gas than the Aveo but I would have spent $10,000 more for the car. It would have taken me roughly 10 years to make up the difference in price in gas. I figure the car should last me about 8 years so I went with the Chevy Aveo. I have not regretted it and I have driven 130,000KM in the last 4 years. I will 100% concider the newest economy Chevy's when I am in the market for my next car.
