Acura CL 1997Change

This car is approaching 17 years for me and it's been perfect the whole time. No reliability issues thus far. It looks great for its age and handles nicely. The interior is library quiet and the ride is very smooth. Negatives include a less than smooth transmission, large turning radius, and lack of fold down rear seats. That being said, it holds a lot of cargo. Replacement for wear and tear parts (brakes, tires, etc) are not too expensive and it's great on fuel. This car is the perfect blend of sport, luxury, economy, and reliability.

Everything worked fine until a couple years into my purchase. Fuel economy was average, nothing spectacular, but nothing bad.

This vehicle has been excellent in all conditions, handles very well and has given me no problems whatsoever. I have been extremely pleased with the Acura, which is surprising to me as I went from years of driving a Land Rover Discovery and thought I'd hate it! However it has many features found in other luxury vehicles (heated seats, sunroof, Bose sound etc) it's excellent to drive and is sized to find parking in the city with ease.

If it weren't for a provincial move I'd continue to own this car.

The car can sometimes backfire or the engine will not start. Not the best car ever in terms of reliability, but pretty good elsewhere. Nice interior, not to fancy did not spend much money on the lookds, more of an economy car. Love the fuel economy, hardly ever have to go fill up on gas, maybe once every two weeks and does gives me many miles per gallon. Seats are very comfortable, adjustable, and can be angled and moved back and forth. You can pretty much just shift the seat and take a nap on it. On the outside, again nothing too fancy, choosing money over style.

very reliable car . economic on gas ,stylish a lot of extras, reliable service , very polite and helpful service team, as a consumer I would gladly tell my family and friends the wonderful ride you get in this car, it is very comfortable and family friendly. as for the fuel economy it is very friendly on your wallet; with the price of gas today you can go a long way on a gas tank. I call it my little go far car, we are constantly on the road and can rely on this vehicle to get us where we need to go and come back home safely.
I love my little Acura. Best investment we ever made
