Redesigned into its second generation for 2009, the Porsche Boxster is unchanged for 2010, except for exterior colour choices.

The Boxster lineup comes with a choice of two engines, both horizontally-opposed six-cylinders: a 2.9-litre in the Boxster, and 3.4-litre in the Boxster S. Both mate to a six-speed manual transmission or optional seven-speed double-clutch automatic transmission.

Features on the Boxster include 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, four-piston calipers with ventilated brake discs, anti-theft system, tire pressure monitoring system, water-repellant front windows, electric soft top with manual header latch, rear window defroster, automatically-extendable rear spoiler, front and rear fog lights, foot well lighting, trip computer, auto up/down windows, variable intermittent wipers, heated washer nozzles, keyless entry, garage door opener, cruise control, CD stereo, two-piece rollover protection, heated leather seats with manual height adjuster and electric backrest, leather-wrapped steering wheel, illuminated vanity mirror, and aluminum-look interior accents.

The Boxster S adds 18-inch alloy wheels, red brake calipers, light grey instrument dials and upgraded stereo.
