NEW FOR 2012: - No changes For 2012, the Mazda CX-7 is unchanged. The CX-7 comes with a choice of two engines: a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder with five-speed automatic transmission in the GX, and a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder with six-speed automatic transmission in the GS and GT. Both have manual shift mode. The GX is front-wheel drive only, while the GS and GT are all-wheel drive. The all-wheel system uses active torque split and can deliver up to 50/50 power distribution when necessary. Features on the GX include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, tire pressure monitoring system, heated mirrors, rear privacy glass, rain-sensing wipers, intermittent rear wiper, automatic headlights, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, trip computer with fuel consumption gauge, keyless entry, cloth seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, floor mats, and CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input. The GS adds 18-inch alloy wheels and dual exhaust outlets. The GT adds 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, blind spot monitoring system, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, xenon headlamps with manual levelling, fog lights, cargo cover, electroluminescent gauges, intelligent key system, rearview camera, auto-dimming mirror, garage door opener, power sunroof, heated leather seats with eight-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, driver’s side memory, leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, six-CD/MP3 stereo, and Sirius satellite radio. The GX and GS can be optioned with a Luxury Package that adds automatic climate control, power sunroof, heated leather seats, eight-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, and Bluetooth connectivity with Audio Profile. The GT can be optioned with a navigation system.
