2012 Nissan Rogue

NEW FOR 2012:

• New “Sport Mode” switch on all models
• New 17-inch wheel design on SV models
• SL adds Around View Monitor
• Exterior colour: Blue Lightning added

For 2012, changes to the Nissan Rouge are in trim. All models receive a “Sport Mode” button for more spirited performance, and the SV models receive new wheels. The SL receives the Around View Monitor, which adds a “bird’s-eye” view camera for easier parking.

The Rogue uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with continuously variable transmission (CVT). Trim lines are the S, SV and SL. The S and SV come in front- or all-wheel drive, while the SL is strictly all-wheel drive.

Features on the S FWD include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, intermittent rear wiper, splash guards, keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity, auto-down driver’s window, tilt steering column, cruise control, trip computer, exterior temperature display, cloth seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, CD stereo with auxiliary input, iPod interface, rear sonar sensor, tire pressure monitoring system and anti-theft alarm.

The S AWD adds roof rails and dual vanity mirrors.

The SV FWD builds on the S FWD and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, privacy glass, polished stainless steel exhaust tip, backup monitor, dual vanity mirrors, cargo cover, heated seats, CD stereo with 4.3-inch colour display, and USB port.

The SV AWD is similarly equipped.

The SL adds 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, fog lights, power sunroof, trailer hitch pre-wiring, navigation system with Around View Monitor, Intelligent Key with pushbutton start, auto up/down driver’s window, auto-dimming rearview mirror, illuminated vanity mirrors, dual-level console tray, luggage side hooks, cargo light, six-way power driver’s seat, leather upholstery, fold-flat front passenger seat, Bose CD/MP3 stereo, XM satellite radio, and eight Bose speakers.
