The Ford F-350 is the second rung of the brand's range of Super Duty heavy-duty pickup trucks, slotting in above the F-250.
What's New / Key Changes from Last Year
Ford refreshed the F-350 for 2020, along with the rest of the Super Duty family. The update includes cosmetic changes, but also brings a new optional 7.3L gasoline engine and a 10-speed transmission that replaces a 6-speed as standard across the range.
Ford offers the F-350 in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited trims. Engine choices include a 6.2L gas V8 (standard in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum), a 6.7L turbodiesel V8 (standard in Limited), and the new 7.3L gas V8 (optional in all but Limited). Two- and four-wheel drive systems are available, and the 10-speed transmission is standard regardless of configuration.
F-350 XL exterior features include 17-inch tires on steel wheels, air conditioning, a 2.3-inch productivity display, automatic high beams, Sync infotainment, a 4-speaker stereo, vinyl seating, black steel bumpers, black door handles, and tire pressure monitoring.
XLT gains 18-inch aluminum wheels, cruise control, a 4.2-inch productivity display, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure alert, Sync 3 infotainment, satellite radio, a 5-speaker stereo, cloth upholstery, chrome bumpers, and power door locks with keyless entry.
Lariat adds dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable pedals, an 8.0-inch productivity screen, backup sensors, an integrated garage door opener, a B&O sound system, leather upholstery, heated/ventilated 10-way power front seats, heated rear seats (Crew Cab), tubular running boards, body-colour door handles, LED cargo box lighting, heated telescoping side mirrors with power adjustments, a power sliding rear window, and trailer backup guidance.
King Ranch brings wireless smartphone charging, a heated steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer, navigation, front captain's chairs, lighted running boards, LED headlights and fog lights, and power-telescopic side mirrors.
Platinum trim adds adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering, power running boards, chrome door handles, and a tailgate step with assist handle.
Finally, Limited trim's additions are the Powerstroke 6.7L diesel engine, a sunroof, a Miko suede headliner, and upfitter switches.
Among the F-350's options are FX4 and Tremor off-road packages, heavy-duty service suspension, and a snowplow prep kit.
Natural Resources Canada classifies heavy-duty trucks as commercial vehicles, and doesn't require their makers to provide fuel consumption estimates.
