My Previous car was a BMX X5 with a V8 engine. I'm writing this review comparing this with that (..and I'm a car guy).
Comfort is a solid 5/5. Even the 3rd row seating is relatively easy to access and even a 6" 200lb guy can sit comfortable. Best 3rd row I've seen (and much better then the X5).
Fuel economy isn't bad for such a vehicle. It drops to 4cyl during cruising. A little worse than the typical V6 SUVs, but you also get an SUV that’s more fun to drive than the average SUV. I scored 4l/100km during hwy cruising @ 110km/hr.
Interior design is good, practical without being cheap. Not the most expensive look, but doable. Those in the back will love the accessories during long trips.
Exterior is awesome. General maintenance is easy too.
Reliability, is good. No issues. Racetrack has issue with pooling water due to assembly issues. Should be re-sealed by dealer or part of dealer purchase agreement. Make sure it’s on paper that they fixed it. Else, your rear lights will start fading into death.
Driving in snow is fairly easy, just don't be silly. Many owners opt for A/T tires, for a more aggressive look and better snow/mud traction (I'm next in line for those LOL).
Would I buy a Durango again? Yes, probably a V8 model.
