For 2011, the Acura CSX’s higher-performance Type-S model is discontinued.
Exclusive to the Canadian market, the CSX shares its platform with the Honda Civic. It uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic.
It comes in a single trim line that can be optioned with a technology package.
Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, active front head restraints, tire pressure monitoring system, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, fog lights, front splash guards, power sunroof, illuminated vanity mirrors, exterior temperature gauge, glove compartment light, auto up/down driver’s window, keyless entry, cruise control, variable intermittent wipers, CD/MP3 stereo with USB and auxiliary input, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, heated leather seats, manual driver’s height adjustment, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and floor mats.
The i-Tech package adds navigation system, stereo with digital card reader, xenon headlamps, Bluetooth connectivity and XM satellite radio.
