Buying a used Acura in Canada
Know what's discontinued
The TLX, ZDX and many older models (ILX, TL, TSX, RLX, NSX) are no longer sold new. They are still serviced by Acura dealers, but check parts and warranty status before buying.
Run the VIN for recalls
Recent Transport Canada recalls include a steering gearbox issue on 2023 to 2025 Integras (2024-588), engine stalling software and brake pedal recalls on 2021 to 2025 MDX and TLX models (2025-029 and 2025-318), and a steering software recall on the 2025 RDX (2025-460). In June 2026, Honda and Acura also recalled 2014 to 2020 MDXs for rear subframe rust.
Check what warranty is left
The 4-year basic and 5-year major components warranties mean recent used Acuras may still be covered.
