Toyota Prices 2019 Camry

Toyota has just priced the new Camry. The midsize sedan was all-new last year, but that doesn't mean there are no changes for this year. For a start, the base L trim is gone. And good news for Apple fans, CarPlay is now included and standard. There's a price cut on most trims as well.

The Camry will continue to come in sport and luxury grades, designated with an S and L, respectively. So the now base LE and XLE models offer a wide-grille nose and softer suspension. The SE and XSE get a suspension tuned to put a little more starch in the Camry, though even when paired with the healthy 301 hp 3.5L V6, it's a suitably Camry level of starch.

The old base L trim isn't entirely gone, though. It lives as the new for 2019 LE Base trim. That one is actually $200 less than last year's L at $26,390

Other models see some price cuts as well. The XLE is down $1,440. That's because Toyota has taken that car's 18-inch alloys and moved them to a new XLE Navigation Package. Which adds navigation as well as the wheels and a JBL audio system. The latter two were previously only available with the V6. The XSE's price drops $400 and it trades Ultrasuede seats for more conventional leather. It's still available in that very daring red, though, should you be so inclined.

The powertrains continue to include three options. A 203 hp 2.5L four-cylinder (206 hp on XSE), a 301 hp 3.5L V6 (both with an eight-speed auto) and a 208 hp hybrid system that uses a 2.5L four and electric motor. They also have Toyota's Safety Sense P package standard that adds active safety features like pre-collision detection, radar cruise, automatic high beams, and lane departure with steering assist.

The 2019 Camry models are on sale now.
