Mitsubishi’s S-AWC is one of the most advanced all-wheel-drive systems in the world. Not only does it distribute power from front-to-rear, like other systems, but it also controls torque side-to-side at every wheel using real-time sensor data, for superior traction and control. Multiple drive modes make sure you’re matched for any conditions, on-road or off. S-AWC comes standard on the Outlander, Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross.

Mitsubishi was one of the first automakers to commercialize adaptive cruise control in the 1990s. Today, MI-PILOT Assist takes over much of the driving on highways and in stop-and-go traffic. Using cameras, radar and GPS data, a Mitsubishi SUV equipped with MI-PILOT Assist will control acceleration, brakes and steering to make the journey safer and more relaxing. It can also recognize traffic signs and adjust the vehicle’s speed accordingly.
We know electrified vehicles
In 2009, Mitsubishi debuted the i-MiEV electric car; today, the Outlander PHEV is the best-selling plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in the world. Its 61 kilometres of electric-only range is more than most people’s daily commute, but the efficient 2.4L four-cylinder engine allows longer trips without the anxiety. Stylish and spacious, the Outlander PHEV is also eligible for $5,000 in Canada’s iZEV rebates, and more in certain provinces.

Take full advantage of that smartphone in your pocket with the Mitsubishi Connect app, which offers features such as cabin warming/cooling, find your vehicle, emergency services and much more. Inside, the Smartphone Link Display Audio System features standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, letting you make calls and listen to playlists tied to your device. That info, along with much more, will also be reflected in the Outlander PHEV’s standard 12.3” driver display in high resolution graphics.
