2002 Mercury Grand Marquis

by xSINGHx on 10-17-2012
Great luxury sedan
Had this car for 5 years and the ride is superb. The only downside this car was the fuel economy which I solved by running it on Propane along with gas. The car is very comfortable. This car is also very reliable. Love the V8.

2012 Nissan Altima

by xSINGHx on 10-17-2012
Good family sedan
What I like:

-Key-less/remote-less entry (even the basic model)
-Fuel economy
-Very Spacious

What needs improvement:

-The interior could use some work. It is very boring and dull. But they have fixed the interior with the new model (2013).
-Driver seat needs to be more comfortable
-Don't like the way the CVT engine sounds. The car is at 20k and it already sounds like it has over 100k on it.

Verdict: Get the 2013 model if you can.

2002 BMW 3 Series

Trim: 325I Sport Package
by xSINGHx on 10-12-2012
Awesome car that will put a smile on your face every time you drive it.
Bought this car back in 2006 and recently sold it (July 2012). When I bought the car, it had 40,000 kms on it and I drove it past 190,000. The car is a pleasure to drive and it is one of the best 3 series model in terms of looks and performance. Make sure you get this with a manual tranny. Since it's a BMW, please use 91 octane gas and it does require scheduled maintenance. Make sure you use genuine BMW parts to avoid problems down the road. As long as you keep it tuned, it will not give you problems. I do miss the car a lot but had to sell it because my wife can't drive manual. :(

1997 Toyota RAV4

by xSINGHx on 10-12-2012
This little suv is a monster
I had this car for 10 years and it is a very dependable machine. Very good for winter driving and great on gas. Toyota built SUVs will last you a long time, especially the ones built in the 90s. Don't hesitate to buy this.

2013 Hyundai Sonata

Trim: SE
by xSINGHx on 10-11-2012
Excellent family sedan
Just bought this car 3 months ago and I love driving it. It is sporty and fun to drive. Love the bluetooth voice assistant. Great on gas, I get about 700 kms on a tank (city driving).

We we're thinking of buying a used (2011-2012) Sonata but the 0% financing sealed the deal. Plus, I think used cars have gone up in price and now is the best time to buy new. This is my family's 3rd Sonata and Hyundai keeps improving. Don't hesitate on buying this car.

2009 Hyundai Sonata

Trim: GL
by xSINGHx on 10-11-2012
Drove close to 300k on the 2009 Sonata and it's still driving like new. Very reliable
My dad and I drive a cab in Toronto and I recommended he get a Hyundai Sonata instead of an Impala which was the most used fleet car a few years ago.

The Sonata is very reliable and has will save you a lot on gas. Since this car is on the road 24 hours a day, it currently has close to 300, 000 kms on it. We bought it used when it had 80,000 kms on it. This is the second Sonata within 3 years because the previous 2009 Sonata was involved in a car accident and was a write off. So my dad decided to get another 2009 Sonata. Even the previous car had over 250,000 kms before the accident. So it's not luck that we hit close to 300k twice.

What I like:
-Great acceleration for a 4 cylinder
-Great at gas. We still get about 600 kms on a single tank.
-Very reliable. No major repairs on both cars.
-Standard features like MP3 player, aux input, USB, etc...

What needs improvement:
-Wish the driver seat was more comfortable
-The side mirror should fold in
-The steering wheel feels a little numb and need refinement

Would I buy this car again? Yes, and I just did. I bought a 2013 Sonata as a family car. And all the improvements I mentioned above have been addressed in the new Sonata.
