I drove this car for many years and the only complaint I have, is that it is way too low.
A pot hole finally ended the life of this car, after many had attempted to before it.
With the snow and terrible roads in my Province, this car just isn't ideal.
Otherwise, it's got awesome features for a 2003, amazing view. You can see absolutely everything in this car and it's a big a bubble of safety.
A ton of room in the front seat, back seat not so much. The trunk has a ton of space, more than you would expect for a Beetle.
Despite the trouble with the roads, this car definitely toughed it out!

This car is quite speedy and i love zipping around the city in it. I love the Bluetooth feature and the sound system. Having an aux in, is a must for me.
I don't like how the volume on whatever I am listening to, turns down when I stop. It drives me nutty, especially when I am always listening to my music quite loud. It makes the listening experience a little odd. Definitely need to find out how to turn it off.
I also don't like where the rear view mirror is place, it is right in the middle of my vision and it really takes away from being able to have a nice big open view. So, definitely going to look in to have it re-mounted higher.
Other than that, I love the car. It's extremely comfortable, I feel like the seat was made for me.
Make sure to get the heated seat, sunroof, and iPod plug-in features. I bought this car used and if I would have had these, I would have been through the rough ecstatic.
One other thing, these new cars are being made without pause buttons! I noticed this when test driving a 2011 Jetta. Also quite annoying when you just want to pause the music for a second, you have to just turn the whole thing off.
Lots of space and I love how the hatch just opens when you pull on the handle with the car unlocked.
