Nissan Versa 2008Change

We have had no problems with this make and model. It is excellent on gas in city and on the highway. It is a comfortable car for the 2 of us and rides great.

My Versa has been an absolute great car since I bought it used. It is great for outdoor activities, as it is much more spacious that the exterior shows! A compact car that is the easiest to park in tight spots and with so much interior room is the perfect combination!

It is great on the highway, great mileage if you stick to 120km/hr or lower.

Manual transmission gives you more control over the car, especially in winter driving conditions.

I recommend this car to all!!!!!

This car is very fun to drive and cheap on gas. For small family or single person. This car can bring you wherever you wanna go.
What I like in this car is very roomy and comfortable.
Easy to accelerate in a high hill using over drive.
I had this car for 5 yrs. and never give any headache on me.
Cheap maintenance and a very reliable car.

Bought this car in 2012 off lease from someone we knew (it was treated well). Costs have been high with 80,000 kms. Air Cond has been problematic twice. Overall $4,000 in repairs last 2 years putting on 20,000 kms (that doesnt include usuals like tires). Gas mileage is surprisingly poor compared to other small cars. Road noise is very high. It does have a lot of pep and is great to handle. For the money, I do suggest looking at used Corolla or Civic.

Have no complains about anything except for kinda high noise on over 100 km/h if to compare with civic or mazda3, golf.

it is a very good car to own especially for a young couple, single person, fuel consumption is excellent it runs really well too. I just don't enjoy the interior as much as I do the exterior but it is one heck of a good ride.

Really like driving it but it is my dads car and need to sell it as he is of the age where he can no longer drive. Very nice car in almost new condition. I have my 2013 dodge dart and bf has a truck so we do not need the vehicle.

This was a fun drive for the past 5 years and we are sad to let it go. Fuel economy is great and the car has lots of pep. This combined with the comfort and roominess of the car make it enjoyable to drive. On a hot summers day, roll down the windows, open the sun roof and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

This car has been a perfect car, driven by my mother for 5 years. Very reliable and the most economical car around.
Recently in the last 8 months it has new brakes, tires and muffler system. This car has been a very fun car to drive and extremely reliable

We purchased the Versa because we wanted a small car with a lot of space that was good on gas. We were not disappointed. We have driven it all over for work and pleasure. Most recently we took it for a 2 week road trip all over Canada and the United States. We fit three of us and all our gear in the car and gas was incredibly cheap for us! I suggest the Versa to all of my friends. I will likely buy another one in a different colour next time just because I love and trust it so much.

This is my first car and I believe it is perfect for what I need it for. Great on gas and high in comfort. Also very easy to control and drive. Sleek design. I have been a huge fan of nissian my whole life for there quality and price point, and with the versa it sure shows it.

I loved the car when I first chose it. However, a few months later, I realized that the car consumes a whole lot of gas. Therefore, Nissan's claim about the Versa having a great fuel efficiency was definitely false.
In terms of reliability, it is not so bad. It sometimes has trouble starting in winter, but it has never been a problem.
The interior of the car is very plain; Nissan definitely has to work on modernizing their interiors to suit the clients' needs.
Overall, it is a decent car, although Nissan could make quite a few improvements.

Downsized from a truck to this small car.

The good - Nice roomy interior for a small car, lots of room in the back seat for the kids, good leg room for adults. Good fuel economy, never breaks the bank to fill.

The bad - no space in the trunk, rather gutless at times, not wonderful for passing. Not great handling in the snow/ice. Exterior leaves a little to be desired. Some interior finishes are cheap.

All in all a good little car, cheap, easy on gas. Great car for running the kids around, or picking up a few groceries, not something I would want to live with for long trips, or hauling anything more than a couple bags of groceries.

We have had it coming on 4 years,it is a great car. Lots of space, great on fuel,and a sporty looking car. Love it.

This car is reasonably priced and has more space than your usual lower priced vehicles. It has great trunk space, A/C and is okay for a family vehicle. You can easily fit a couple of kids in the back :) It hasnt caused me any problems thus far and the feature I enjoy is the air conditioning on those hot days! Its pretty good on gas too!

It is a terrific ride, comfort, and gets me to where I need to go!
Looking forward to continue another year, last car with Nissan,
the Pulsar, drove it for 20 years! Enjoyed that car, very much!

I find that it is a gas guzzler partly because the air conditioner has to be on year round, the power of the car is not great. Really have to slow into speeding up or it doesn't work properly there is also a problem with early rusting of the muffler

Bought this car not too long ago and am very pleased so far, great fuel economy and very spacious and comfortable. The windows and design make it so you can see everything around you which is very nice. Overall very satisfied!

It's comfortable, quite and gives one great fuel economy. The pickup on the highway has a little to be desired but it goes so really I can't complain. My only flaw I feel the Nissan has is that the night lights do not come on automatically and unless you look down toward your radio it is not obvious when driving when it switches from day to night. I have had no other problems with this car and have always had excellent service with the dealership.

This car is quite speedy and i love zipping around the city in it. I love the Bluetooth feature and the sound system. Having an aux in, is a must for me.
I don't like how the volume on whatever I am listening to, turns down when I stop. It drives me nutty, especially when I am always listening to my music quite loud. It makes the listening experience a little odd. Definitely need to find out how to turn it off.
I also don't like where the rear view mirror is place, it is right in the middle of my vision and it really takes away from being able to have a nice big open view. So, definitely going to look in to have it re-mounted higher.
Other than that, I love the car. It's extremely comfortable, I feel like the seat was made for me.
Make sure to get the heated seat, sunroof, and iPod plug-in features. I bought this car used and if I would have had these, I would have been through the rough ecstatic.
One other thing, these new cars are being made without pause buttons! I noticed this when test driving a 2011 Jetta. Also quite annoying when you just want to pause the music for a second, you have to just turn the whole thing off.
Lots of space and I love how the hatch just opens when you pull on the handle with the car unlocked.

I've got the Versa hatchback, sport model. Looks great and has been a very good car so far. Nearing the 5 year mark with the car, at 75,000kms. Only issues have been a faulty fuel pump / pressure regulator (replaced three times under warranty), and a leaking sunroof. The mileage is good if you baby the car. Average tank to fill is just over $50 (when light is on), and can get usually between 400-500kms per tank (again depending on how slow you drive). Front cup holders are useless, and should have been designed to be in between the two front passenger seats. Interior space is huge (specifically passenger space), trunk space on the hatch is limited. The CVT transmission is very smooth and for the most part a quiet ride. Overall, the car is worth the money and has been a great daily commuter/travelling vehicle. Hopefully it drives another 10 years!
