i love my pontiac g5 , love the way it drives , perfect on gas , its comfortable and very reliable , nothing really fancy about the interior

Great little car for the average commuter. Enough comforts inside and a decent exterior. Feels slightly slower to accelerate than the comparable model from GM, but still handles highways and turns quite well!

I love this car!
I have not had any major repairs required --just yearly maintenance and normal wear and tear. I have travelled many miles and find it a very comfortable drive and ride.
A pro and con, is that it is very light. During winter I found it handled better with a little weight added to the trunk. Winter tires make all the difference as well.
The black exterior and windows makes for a very sexy sleek looking car! I wax it twice per year and it shines...sexy!
I bought this car as a univeristy graduation gift to myself --so it has been with me through many chapters of my life.
Im very sad that I have to sell this car! If it was up to me I would keep it --but the man of the house says we need a family sized vehicle for our new growing family (shhh...dont tell my mom)!
Ultimately --this is a amazing vehicle and Im excited for its next chapter.

I got a really good deal on this car since 2009 is the last year they made this car. I bought the car brand new after trade in and discounts for about $15000 with tax and everything including. I have put quite a few kilometers on the vehicle and haven't had any issues except getting a flat tire. I do get regular oil changes and it is still running like new. I would definitely recommend this vehicle if you are looking for something economic and reliable to get from point A to point B.

been fixing things on the car since i got it and been going through tires like they are candy its horrible how much this car has actually cost me

Very reliable and an excellent vehicle for teenagers going off to school. Fuel efficient and smaller car. Back seat does not have much room but the trunk has enough space for groceries and two people.

Failry reliable. Trim inside the car peels ( On the door handles). Problems with the suspension when going over large potholes. Ignition switch had a recall, they told us not to come in unless the car would not turn off. When 6 months after the notice the car would not turn off, lukily the dealship was open and we were able to drop it off and they gave us a rental car which was at least something. Would have been better if they just told us to bring it in and have the ignition replaced which would have meant we could have done it when it was convenient for us and not 2x days before Christmas.

I bought this car from my grandmother when she could no longer drive, and even though she just had the very basic model with nothing fancy, it's been a great car. It doesn't get as good fuel mileage as I expected for a smaller car, but my 6'4" husband finds it every comfortable, which is a plus.

The Pontiac G5 is a entry level sedan with basic features and a simplistic design. If you are on a tight budget and need something to drive but somewhat stylish this is car is for you. Of course, like most cheap things in this world, the Pontiac G5 will deteriorate faster than you can fix it if you do not take good care of the car. Get your oil changed frequently and avoid getting into crashes at all costs because replacement parts for this car will be scarce due to Pontiac going out of business.

So far I've had this car for 5 years. Fixed some parts on it, but no major problems. Good car if u don't want anything too fancy but to drive around. Drove from Ontario to Alberta and from Alberta to Northern BC and from BC to Ontario there and back. Still a good car. :)

I really like my Pontiac G5. very smooth and quite a bit of power for what it is. My wife also has one. all in all a very safe reliable car. There are many colors to chose from. the car is also very affordable.

I love this car. It has good fuel economy and a great design. The only thing that I have an issue with is the comfort level inside the car. We have a no nonsense model with hardly any bells an whistles, so I am not sure about other models. The bucket seats can really make your back sore as they have hardly any support. Other than that, its got lots of leg room, and a really nice overall look.

it has been reliable thus far, not very good on gas and doesnt have a lot of power but does the job. i havent had any issues with the breaks or the engine with in the 2 years. wish i opted out for the power windows and wish it had a sun roof. the factory system is not ery good but once again it does the trick. you get what you pay for.

I've have loved this car since day 1. For anyone wanting just a simple, basic car, this is the one for you.

I own this vehicle. Slate grey 2009 Pontiac G5 coupe SE. It has been very reliable for long distance driving as well as normal highway city driving. Gas consumption is about a 5-7 days until next full tank fill up in the city. Larger view I can drive from Windsor Ontario to London Ontario with half a tank and just over 3 quarters of a tank to Toronto. Positives it was all the safety features possible. side curtain airbags as well as driver and passenger. Comes with on star emergency and in car calling. XM radio, USB plug, Audio In. Reads mp3's has a cd player. On steering wheel control system. Pioneer speakers and sub woofer. Fold-able back seats for more trunk space, spoiler. sun roof, fog lights, 18" alloy wheels and many more options. For the price I paid I felt I got more than what was expected. The negatives low to the ground for winter driving, without winter tires it is difficult to drive at moderate speeds to a complete stop in the winter. I had a problem with the wheel bolt covers coming lose on drives. The trunk space is sufficient but small. Needs more power on acceleration. Backseat room is small for a coupe for people 5'10" and over to be comfortable. That is my review.

Great little car to get from point A to B! Grat on gas. Good in the snow. Never fails to start even on the coldest mornings. Nice looking exterior - somewhat sporty looking without the increase in insurance =)

Smooth ride for long distance and short distance drives! Good on gas usage. Never any problems with mechanics.

gives a good ride - low maint. - drawback is the back brakes are drums, a little noisy
Headroom is low, for a tall person it would not be suitable.
Ecotech engine has good pickup

Good experience have 180k no complaints. Car handles well, is good on gas and looks sporty. No repairs to speak of

The G5 is a great commuting vehicle. Not as luxurious and flashy as other cars, but it gets the job done. The sport package on our model includes all the "nice-to-haves": keyless entry, sunroof, cruise control, upgraded sound system, etc. We've never had any issues with our G5 and have only needed to bring it to the shop for regular maintenance. Still runs very smooth.

This is an amazing comfortable and sporty car. I love to drive it!! It gets great gas mileage especially on the highway. I have had no problems with this car, it is always reliable.

We went from a jeep to the G5 and do not regret it at all. We go from cambridge to Niagara on 1/4 tank of gas. We have never had a problem with the car. I've left the interor light on over night and the car still started and ran with no problems. I would recomend this car to anyone who is looking for a reliable and fuel economy.
