Pontiac G5 2007Change

I have had this car for 5 yrs. my grandpa had it for 5 before me. Great little car. Reliable, good on gas.

I have had this car for just over a year and it has given me no problems whatsoever. I love the sporty look and the compact feel. It is not a good car if you need to haul around a lot of baggage or other goods but it is a pleasure to drive. I've had lots of compliments on it. Highly recommend.

She was a great car! Fas, efficient, comfortable. Okay on the gas per mile. All in all a good car until her last days. Never a regret!

Not a fan of this car but it's what we could afford at the time. We have had it for 2 years and it gets us around for now, until we can afford something better

Everyone's reviews are so great about the Pontiac G5, but mine is an absolute pig on gas. I'm not hard on the gas pedal, but 15 minutes of in-town driving, and the tank has gone down 1/16th of a tank. It's a $40 fill-up, but that only lasts me 4-5 days.
When I get up to 80km/h the steering wheel shakes like crazy, and starts knocking. I've gotten the car checked out at a Pontiac dealership and nothing seems to be wrong with it according to them.
Also, when slowly accelerating the RPMs rise and fall rapidly, with my foot consistent on the pedal, it feels like it's chugging along, then it's fine if you punch the gas.
I got it used with only 100,000km on it!

Great small car to get to where you need. I was my first car and i have no complaints about this vehicle. Smooth and comfortable ride, handles corners and turns beautifly.

This car is fun to drive, comfortable , lots of trunk space, and very dependable. I would recommend this vehicle to anybody that is looking for a small sedan that will give you dependability.

This car is reliable, never had problems starting it winter as it is well maintained. Any repairs that needed to be done were done so through my warranty (only changed ball joint and control arms through both owners). Styling, even though it's from a Chevrolet Cobalt, looks better than other cars in its category which is one of the reasons I bought it.

Ride is good, doesn't feel too high or low in the seat proportionate to the road (compared to a Camry,Corolla,Civic or Mazda 3) and visibility in the cabin is great. Performance is better than most cars in category and doesn't consume much more gas than competitors. I got 7.6L/100km on highway and 8.9L/100km city.

There is a lot of trunk space due to the fact that it is a coupe.Rear seat space is limited but can provide sufficient room.

I bought this car at a dealership in Leduc when it was about a year and bit old. It was a leased vehicle and came with all service records and a history report.
I have purchased all season tires for this car and recently bought brand new winter tires that I only used half the year.
This vehicle is extremely clean and has never been smoked in.
It has never been in an accident, and I have purchased a Service history report online as well.
I have never had any problems with this vehicle, very easy to maintain and very reliable.
Fantastic on Fuel

Recently purchased a used 2007 G5 GT, after specifically uttering the words; "..I don't want like a g5 or anything.." But I now take it back. I love this car. The 2.4L Ecotec effortlessly propels this car through the gears to quite a speed.

This car is great to drive, it looks great with the racing stripes and the tinted windows. The stereo is amazing!

I love this car. It has been very reliable over the 3 years I have had it. I have never had it in the shop except for regular oil changes. I have gone as many as 5 weeks without having to fill up with gas. The gas mileage is excellent. It is also a good highway car. I have out over 18,000 km on it and have never had a problem with stalling or the tranny or engine. It has started in -40C weather without a complaint.

I got this car to drive to college, but i got enthrawled in making it my own car.
Perfect sporty/economic car for anybody.

The driving experience is relatively smooth. The car has had no major problems so far and it is well over 100,000 km. It is not bad for driving in the city. Inside it feels comfortable to an extent, the seats feel a little cheap (not very cushioned). In terms of space it is not too spacious (for people in the back seat).

It is large enough to cram lots of things in without feeling like a boat of a car. It is comfortable for adults in the back seat, and has lots of extra features.

This has been a dream first car. Its a very smooth ride, the colour is unique, the interior design is perfectly user friendly, its great on gas and has had no problems since its purchase. It is a great value at this selling price for the quality of the car.

I love this car!
I have not had any major repairs required --just yearly maintenance and normal wear and tear. I have travelled many miles and find it a very comfortable drive and ride.
A pro and con, is that it is very light. During winter I found it handled better with a little weight added to the trunk. Winter tires make all the difference as well.
The black exterior and windows makes for a very sexy sleek looking car! I wax it twice per year and it shines...sexy!
I bought this car as a univeristy graduation gift to myself --so it has been with me through many chapters of my life.
Im very sad that I have to sell this car! If it was up to me I would keep it --but the man of the house says we need a family sized vehicle for our new growing family (shhh...dont tell my mom)!
Ultimately --this is a amazing vehicle and Im excited for its next chapter.

been fixing things on the car since i got it and been going through tires like they are candy its horrible how much this car has actually cost me

I bought this car from my grandmother when she could no longer drive, and even though she just had the very basic model with nothing fancy, it's been a great car. It doesn't get as good fuel mileage as I expected for a smaller car, but my 6'4" husband finds it every comfortable, which is a plus.

So far I've had this car for 5 years. Fixed some parts on it, but no major problems. Good car if u don't want anything too fancy but to drive around. Drove from Ontario to Alberta and from Alberta to Northern BC and from BC to Ontario there and back. Still a good car. :)

Great little car to get from point A to B! Grat on gas. Good in the snow. Never fails to start even on the coldest mornings. Nice looking exterior - somewhat sporty looking without the increase in insurance =)

gives a good ride - low maint. - drawback is the back brakes are drums, a little noisy
Headroom is low, for a tall person it would not be suitable.
Ecotech engine has good pickup

Have found my G5 to be a reliable ride. if you"re looking for flaws this isn"t the car for you. Fuel consumption is a little less than what I would expect from this car but still in the average range
