Nissan Rogue 2009Change

I enjoyed this car driving for 3.5 years, maintenance not expensive, the fuel consumption is great. The car is reliable and especially to drive longer distance without worrying.

From a cost of ownership perspective its great, Cost of ownership is relatively low, good on gas and CV transmission is sporty when it wants to be. Not a huge fan of the intelligent all wheel Drive. Other competitors awd system gives me much more confidence in snow or icy conditions

We have had our 2009 Rogue-FWD for the past year, I bought it used and has been very reliable low consumption SUV.
Although it is a front wheel drive SUV, I never have any problems in Toronto's winter, The CVT transmission feel is smooth and reliable. Nissan's Extended warranty of 200000 km/ 10 years is a Peace of mind when it comes to CVT . Maintenance wise all it required from me was a front hub assembly with negligible cost . Part prices are very reasonable.

Small noise in vehicle at start up at 70K annoyed me and after a few visits to dealer they felt it came from Transmission and they were right and replaced the transmission w/lifetime warranty...other than that it's been wonderful and new owner will step right in and have a trouble free ride

excellent car for everyday use in all the weather very reliable. Excellent pick up, without much noise, big trunk.

got this car in 2012 used so im reviewing it based on current standards.

comfort: distance of seat to steering wheel is not for long legged people. back seats not that wide too. basic at the most.

performance: good performance, i can stop and go with ease. smooth ride, just a v4 so dont expect to easily overtake unless you prime the engine to pump some power. powerful enough for most terrain, intelligent stop and never failed to get me out of trouble. (get with hancook 4s tires. super life saver in winter!)

fuel: i lowest mileage you can possible get from this car is around 10L/100KM. i measured it exactly so many times. average will be 12L/100KM. and go ++ from there based on how you drive.

interior: i hate the display is mostly orange led lights. wth, white would be so much more pleasant like the later models. they were trying to capture race enthusiast maybe. not a bad tradeoff for the other value with the car so i still got it.

exterior: nothing fancy. i like it not too boxlike. better in terms of rollover prevention. good aerodynamics too.

reliability: has been super reliable in any aspect, no constant repairs, never had one actually. just recently though it cant handle starting in -20ish Celcius. (boost it.) but if you remember to plug it in you wont have any trouble.

Bought the car new. It has been a great problem free vehicle. Not too back on gas either. It is also a good winter vehicle great on snow and ice.

I love this car - comfortable, practical (love the in-trunk storage), responsive, and quiet. This car has good gas mileage, especially considering it is a compact sports utility vehicle. I bought this car brand new from the dealership in almost four years ago and have only driven 33,000 kilometres and the Rogue is still in excellent condition. I definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone considering a compact SUV.

never repaired it due to some problems by itself, very reliable for your trip. About 9L/100km for highway, 12L/100km from my own experience; so the fuel consumption is about the average for a 2.5L V4 engine.

I have owned my Rogue since 2010 and have loved driving it. Have taken it on many highway trips with my family and it has served us well. Plenty of room in the back to haul things like wagons, strollers and kids hockey equipment.

It's a terrific ride - I absolutely love this crossover, especially the built-in cargo dividers in the trunk.

The Rogue is a very good CUV, its ride is a bit on the harsh side but overall performance is good. It has been very reliable but I've spent about 600 bucks in the past few months fixing up suspension issues - which is a shame for a vehicle with only 60k. The problem is the dealer wanted another 600.00 to fix a issue that is known to Nissan and they refused to cover for it....so disappointing. I've switched from Toyota to Nissan but I will probably go back to Toyota after this episode.

Extremely reliable car. Very nice ride. Very economical 10.5-11.5(winter)city/8.5 Highway. More than 800L luggage space-more than enough! very easy to handle and maneuver!
Coins: Difficult to park until get used with it due to the big blind spots.However my wife can do it so every one should be able too:)

The Nissan Rogue is an Awesome vehicle. It's everything a family on a budget needs. It's economical, fuel efficient and comfortable without losing out on style. Our previous vehicle was costly and not fuel efficient at all. We went from having to put in gas everyday to once a week. It's champagne taste on a beer budget!

Reliable car for the price. Fuel usage is very good in the city. Interior design is average, not much for accessories. Very basic but for the price not bad. Not a bad car, had issued with the dashboard where it was spreading apart. Had to call Nissan Canada for get them to fix. Tires didn't last very long on the car, basic tires. So far no other issues with the car, runs smoothly and start very well in the winter time.
