Kia Rio 2012Change

I have a good time driving this car , it is easy to drive and economic on gas. The interior is decent and well sized trunk for a lot of luggage.

This car is admittedly nothing special. It is an inexpensive, reliable little car that gets from A to B. It performs just fine on the highway. Comfort could be better. On long drives my butt gets a bit uncomfortable at times. Decent fuel economy. Zero trouble.

A good balance between space, comfort and performance for low fuel consuption. very pleased with it as a family car

The trunk looks big but is hard to to get things out of, if they shift to the back. putting seats down for long packages doesn't work either as the angle gets in the way. :(
I have had issues with fan and condensation from day one. Not to mention the water stain that I was told wasn't an issue when purchasing. (Didn't know about the other issues then) :(
No bluetooth :(
It is hard to clean or mount anything to front windshield due to angle :(
I find back views are limited and can't see the nose of car.(I'm tall but still always guessing) Windows in back and back sides are low. I can either sit on the floor or have my head up against roof :(
Bought car at end of Nov. '12 and tried to return it before week was up for a larger car but I would loose 3000. :(
I recommend test driving to the max first. One day is no good

Driving is extremely fun in this vehicle. Although it appears little on the inside, it's quite spacious on the inside. Fuel economy is great, I barely ever have to fill it. I have yet to have problems starting/driving the car except in winter. Where I live it's quite cold, dropping to -40 in the winter. This car is not meant to handle winter conditions. It is not heavy enough to drive on snowy roads and snow tires are a must if you're driving this in the winter. A great car for anyone who doesn't deal with a long. cold winter.

I bought this car because the reviews said the interior design quality rivaled the German cars. This turned out to be true. I was also attracted by the very long warranty. The built in navigation/sound system/blue tooth telephone works great. The rear camera is important, as rear visibility is restricted through the narrow upward sloping side rear windows and the rear window itself. But this is the design for all cars of all makes in this category. I guess it is the most aerodynamic design. The seating is very comfortable both front and rear and plenty of legroom for my 6 foot frame. It is a very well thought out car in every respect. Acceleration is not that great, but I don't need to have fast rabbit starts from a standing stop. It handles very well in curves and on the open highway. You barely hear the motor, making me sometimes think I had not yet started the vehicle. In general I keep a car a very long time and this vehicle is by far the most advanced I have ever had. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Great vehicle. Have not had any problems with it. Great value with all the added features. Handles pretty well. The gas mileage seems to be not as well as it was promised, but still a great value for the price paid. Heated seats, power windows, power locks all standard features.

The 2012 Kia Rio (hatchback) is a very good car. The only problem is that it's a light car and is hard to handle in any strong winds.

use my car everyday and only spend $40 on gas per month
this car has front wheel drive, therefore if you plan on going up hill you must really push your speed or you will slow down signifigantly

Good on gas, easy to drive. After researching and test driving a lot of car this is the one we went with. Sales person was great.

seats are too low. When you are sitting inside, it all just feels cheap. I don't like the huge dash, cannot see front of car. Oh wait..maybe that's cause the seats are low.
One thing it does have going for it is, it's a smooth ride.

Not the greatest when it comes to acceleration, but it's sufficient. Getting real world mileage of 5.5L/100km. Not too shabby. Ride is firm but not as harsh as the current Honda Fit. Trunk is surprisingly large, and interior design is first-rate. Standard bluetooth, heated front seats are a definite bonus.
