Honda CR-V is always reliable.2012 summer I drove it to Florida for an 8000 trip and it worked so well. I'm never worried about its performance at all.

Have had this vehicle for over 6 years and must say truly an amazing vehicle. Drives very smooth and is extremely reliable vehicle. Looks small, but has lots of smart cargo space inside. Very good for long trips

I purchased this car brand new in May 2013. It's my second CRV, having owned a new 2007 model previously, which I traded for this one.

My '07 model was the base LX, so this time around I wanted a few more options, hence I chose the EX-L. It comes nicely equipped with leather, sunroof, back-up camera, satellite radio, premium sound system, 10 way power drivers seat, and a few other features which presently escape me.

The engine is upgraded to 185 hp, which is quite an improvement from the 160 hp of the older CRVs.

The CRVs' handling is predictable and stable. Braking is straight and balanced. Acceleration is smooth, but it will never pin you back in your seat, unlike some of its competitors like the BMW X1, or VW Tiguan, with respective turbo charged engines.

The transmission is silky smooth as well, but once in a blue moon it seems to hunt for a gear when accelerating suddenly at low speeds.

The interior (although upgraded from older models) still looks quite cheap in comparison to the German companies. What can I say, I like the layout of German cars, lol.

As of this writing, I have about 13,200 km on my car, and as expected, have had no mechanical issues.

I basically purchased the car after one test drive, without trying out other vehicles. Since then, I've driven the X-1, Tiguan, and MB GLK....and was extremely impressed by the these machines. The CRV is reliable, predictable, and sorry to say....boring.

If performance isn't important to you, it's a good choice. Otherwise, you may want to shop around for something similarly appointed but with another hundred or so horse power.

The Honda CRV-EX is an extremely reliable vehicle. After eleven winters I've never once been stuck in the snow. A very comfortable ride with plenty of storage capacity. Heated leather seats keep it extra warm in the winter and provide for easy clean-up. Reasonable fuel efficiency. Plenty of get-up-and-go for highway driving.

The CRV EXL is one of the most reliable vehicles I have come across, in all seasons. It is comfortable in any weather. There is plenty of room, especially in the back, with the seats folded up. This model the rear door opens horizontally and the rear window opens, which is very useful.

I've now been driving my 2012 black CRV EXL for
6 months/10,000km. Purchased used with only 20,000km. I shopped around a LOT, and the CRV checked all of the boxes on my list - good fuel economy, lots of space inside, sunroof, satellite radio, USB, compact size, rear wiper, heated leather seats...the list goes on. It's lots of fun to drive. I've never wished for more engine power. I average 26mpg mixed city/highway and over 33 on the freeway, which is fantastic for an SUV with all wheel drive. It's much quieter on the highway than previous generation CRV's, and it still handles well at speeds in excess of 130 km/h. The interior is virtually perfect from an ergonomic standpoint. All the materials are very high quality and well assembled. I'm a big fan of the leather that Honda uses. The rear folding seat mechanism is very convenient.

Gripes (FYI, they're minor and hard to find!):

~ I wish there were grab handles on BOTH ends of the tailgate to close it.

~ There really should have been lights in the glovebox and massive centre console.

~ There isn't a way to customize the info screens to display a mixture of metric and imperial units, it's either one or the other (I read distance in km, but temperature in F).

I could go on and on all day about how much I love this car!

Over the years I've owned various German/Scandinavian cars, as well as American. This is my first Japanese car, but so far it's the best one I've owned! It's caused me absolutely no trouble, which all of my previous cars did in the first few months of ownership. The quality and reliability of my CRV makes me want to buy it all over again!

Had the car for 8 years, great in city as well as logging roads. Never any problems, peppy, a little higher on gas than I'd like...

This car has a big space inside, prefer for a family. When you go shopping, camping, travelling, move your home to another place, this car would be a best choice.

I love my CRV. It is great on gas, I feel safe in my car. The back door is so handy for groceries, gardening, and pets can jump in and out with ease. This 5 passenger car is deal for a family or someone who wants dependability. Regularly serviced. New Brakes.

Love my Honda CR-V, but have a new Honda sitting in the garage waiting to be driven. Easy to handle, great ride, good on fuel, especially on the highway.

You can always count on this vehicle to get you to your destination. Starts every time, even in extreme conditions and the AWD is an added bonus with the severe weather.

Although the vehicle is over 10 years old, it is still stylish and looks great. It also gets great gas mileage.

My CRV currently has about 290,000km and its a 98. EXTREMELY reliable and the parts cost peanuts in retrospect. It is a well put together crossover. With winter tires and its four wheel drive system, this crv is the ultimate winter beater. I love it so much that I actually decided to change the timing belt and store it rather than selling it in the spring as most people do with their beaters. Only downside is the road noise on the highway and how prone it is to rust just as any honda with high km's. But not really a concern for a reliable point a to b vehicle.

This vehicle is the best one we have ever owned. Reliable, rugged, great visibility, and wonderful in winter and summer both. They don't make them like this anymore. Too bad, because if they did we would purchase another in a second!

Great car, Great mileage, Great fuel economy ... fantastic condition ! Loved it all these months...wasnt used much at all since I used public transit- thus the very low mileage of ONLY 22000 km.....very comfortable as well for both family and couples ....if your single, then you have A LOT of room for your friends : D
