Honda CR-V 1998Change

My CRV currently has about 290,000km and its a 98. EXTREMELY reliable and the parts cost peanuts in retrospect. It is a well put together crossover. With winter tires and its four wheel drive system, this crv is the ultimate winter beater. I love it so much that I actually decided to change the timing belt and store it rather than selling it in the spring as most people do with their beaters. Only downside is the road noise on the highway and how prone it is to rust just as any honda with high km's. But not really a concern for a reliable point a to b vehicle.

i recieved this car from a friend who didnt want to fix it. i replaced the transaxle because the original one's transfer case failed. the new one has 180,000km on it. i replace the seals, the torque converter, and used Honda transmission fluid on the refill.
it is a great vehicle and very reliable.

This car has been in our family since it was bought off the line in '98. Three different primary drivers, two dogs, two babies, a gardening job, home renovations, this car carries everything!! I would love to get another one the same only not rusted. The new CR-V just doesn't won't us the way we need. :(

Overall, really enjoyed our vehicle. Problems only with driver side window and radio. With regular maintenance it is definitely worth having for winter driving.

When I First got my CRV it was comfortable, and it still is. The performance is alright , Reliability I was being generous because it has stopped working on me a couple times. Although For safety I believe it is safe. The CRV Styling is not too bad for a big car. Mine came with huge stickers on the side saying CRV in like graffiti. People say its cool. In general it is a good car to get around with.

This vehicle is reasonably economical and very reliable. Space inside the vehicle is amazing compared to outside look of it. It costs low to maintain it. It's my dad's favorite vehicle.
