Durable and reliable car
Ive had los of experience with this car and i honestly think for a cheap price this is an amazing car as the body and car itself is rugged and a well built car.

1999 Chevrolet Cavalier

Old Lady that just won't give up
Bought brand new in 1999; has 18 yrs now & ~170K miles. No problems, ever. Just regular maintenance (oil, tires, brake pads). Oil started leaking 10 years ago; I leave it as is & still runs fine. Got more than worth of my money out of it; hope to still get couple of years out.

It is a fine sedan; too bad GMC stopped making them

First car love
Pros :Great car low fuel consumption, easy cheap parts, overall a great car for anyone looking for their first car. would recommend.

Cons: Muffler bracket replacement often, not a huge deal nor is it expensive, but could have been made better.

Low lights: Lighting for the car in general is not the greatest, specially noticeable at night driving, the cobalt suffers this as well.

Overall its worth the buy.

perfect cheap car
this car has been the most reliable we have owned. we recently inherhited a blazer and took our car off the road for the winter and just left her parked. we had problems with the blazer and were forced to put the cavalier back on the road after sitting for 3 months. she started right up and never let us down. good affordable car

Eco Tech Engine #1
This amazing vehicle will go forever, with the ECO Tech 2.0 engine, and regular maintenance, it is a reliable and affordable vehicle for anyone who needs a commuter vehicle. The interior design is appealing to the eye, however the 2 doors does not make for easy travelling with company.

let me tell ya about the cavy, I stuck a cobalt ss engine in er and buddy does she rip, the ol cavy will always have a special place in my heart, and by the way yes she burns, cavys are the best cars you can get. shame they stopped making them

1997 Chevrolet Cavalier

Good Cheap Car
Bought a used Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe off Autotrader. Works great, and was cheap. It has 220k miles on it and still runs fine, haven't any issue with it other then the regular wear and tear which is to be expected.

1999 Chevrolet Cavalier

Good city commuter
This car is very reliable in the city, it'll always start, no matter the weather, if it needs any work done. It is wonderful for gas within the city, on the highway it takes a little more but that is the price of an older vehicle. It has very comfortable seats that are spacious. An average A/C which will keep you very cool in the summer weather. I could drive my car 2000 over the oil change date and it still would have oil and a clean filter!

This is a great vehicle

Terrific Car For A Small Family or A Student
This is a great little car. It is very reliable and it has a great price point for repairs. In fact I sually only have to change brakes from wear. However, the vehile is very small and is not very good for larger families or if you have to mny adults as the back seats have little leg room. It would be a great starter car for your teen or your college student to get around in as it is good on fuel and would be a lower expense for them them than larger vehicles.

It's a great car
I had this car since new. It's been a great car. It has had no major repairs except for the timing chain replacement. Just general maintenance. Car has never been in an accident. Great car for a new driver or winter car.

Reliability and Stability are the keys
Although this is a lower-end car, it has better engine sound than many other cars. The alignment is excellent as well. Good to have as a starter.

2000 Chevrolet Cavalier

Great car for sudent
only had to do regular oil changes brakes etc. Spent very little money. Has had one minor fender bender and one hit on the back drivers side. Tires are about a year old. I have had no problems with this car.

economical car
The Chevy cavalier is an economical vehicle that is low maintenance and reliable. The Cavalier is also provides good gas mileage and is perfect city vehicle .
