This Vehicle Is a Dream Ride
I love this vehicle and how it handles! the thing can actually handle some off road stuff but feels like it isnt built for it! More of a city vehicle. So if you were to buy this vehicle try to keep it maintained for city use not really good for hunting HAHHAAA like i can fit a BUCK in the back! It is a very nice looking suv! The gas guzzling o the other hand makes it really unique so to speak!

Very comfortable riding truck!
Great ride for a big truck. Handy built in tool boxes. Box cover keeps out most of the elements and dust. Can convert it into an 8' box if needed. Had it for 2 years and love it!

Terrific Interior Space Front and Back Seats
We use this vehicle in the city but we primarily bought it for hauling ATV'S on a trailer and all our camping gear. We do adventure camping off road and this vehicle lets us take it all!

Very Strong!
This has been a great asset to my life. Canadian winters, no problem. Towing a large camper trailer, no problem. A few repairs but, the truck is 14 years old. I recommend this truck!!!

Comfort Supreme
When I bought this vehicle, I bought it for the interior room and storage space in back. This SUV provides superior comfort and a fluent ride. Fuel economy is okay, but negligible to the rest of the features. This is a modern vehicle that is very practical for smaller families.

Best Truck I could Ever ask For
The covered cab is my favourite. The only truck that you can fold down and open the back seats to create a fully opened and covered truck. I have fit 12 ft pieces of lumber covered in my truck (it did need to rest between the driver and passenger). The comfort is amazing. I have the fully loaded version with power seats and lumbar support. I travel with my truck all summer setting up for festivals so after a long day of standing my long drive home is always comfortable and relaxing. I love the locking compartments on the side of the cab too. you can tell by the design of this truck that Chevrolet did not take any shortcuts and utilized all the space they could for extra comfort and storage. The power is amazing too! I wish they still made them. I would be first in line if they brought them back.

It does everything and has everything
Absolutely fantastic vehicle. Room for family and friends n comfort and luxury, especially with the DVD system. Loads of room for all your stuff to go with you without the confines of an SUVs cargo space limitations. Very practical truck for pleasure, work or whatever. Excellent fuel economy, even with well over 200k KM on the odometer, still seeing almost 800km per tank mixed city/highway driving. Very reliable and easy to service engine and mechanicals. Feels like driving a big couch. Fantastic seats for long highway drives, soaks up the bumps and cruises along effortlessly. In my opinion it rides better than most pick up trucks because of the unibody construction being more rigid than having a seperate cab and bed. It's like a Silverado, but more practical. It's a wonder GM stopped making these trucks. They are just fantastic and would highly recommend an Avalanche be on your shopping list when looking for a crew cab pick up. You won't regret it.

Love this vehicle
For comfort, style, versatility and practicality this is a fantastic vehicle. Loved it from the minute I first drove it. Great ride. Chevy had a winner with the fold down seat design - allows for full box capacity with a four door crew cab. Ideal vehicle for someone who wants the comfort of a luxury vehicle with the practicality of a truck.

Best Pickup Ever
Have had this Avalanche for 4 years and it has proven itself to be reliable and a Joy to use. Have had 4X8 sheets in the back . The rear wall and window come down in seconds to fit larger objects Fuel mileage is excellent being a 4X4.340 k on it and it does not burn any oil. The 5.3 Vortec has all the power I need to pull my Auto Hauler and 30 ' Camper trailers. Handles great in traffic and any road surface or condition.

The Chevy Avalanche is by far the BEST vehicle I have ever owned.
We chose the Avalanche over any other truck for its smooth suspension and ride. It doesn't drive like a typical truck...more like a luxury vehicle. The back seats fold down making you able to fit a full sheet of drywall in the back with the tailgate up. The interior is so comfortable, driving to the cottage with 2 kids and 2 dogs is actually enjoyable.
Don't miss the experience of owning a Chevrolet Avalanche...it to will be the best vehicle you have ever owned.

A great truck!
This has been an excellent, safe, family vehicle. It is a very comfortable, smooth ride and is so reliable to get through our long Alberta winters. 4X4 gets through everything! Love the box area with cargo cover to keep everything locked, clean and dry. All around great looking truck. Would definitely buy another one in a heartbeat!

This Beast is reliable.
Truck offers you fuel-efficiency and power/towing capabilities. For example, I drove from Edmonton through Calgary to Banff and back home home - all on ONE tank of gas (12L/100km).
Almost 1000km on one tank of gas!!

Very reliable truck - starts without a hiccup in the cold weather. Pop it into 4WD and tackle Alberta's winter roads no problem!!

Also, the biggest reason I love to drive this truck is because of the after-market sound system that just BANGS!

It is a great vehicle
We have driven the Avalanche to Florida several times. It is very comfortable for long days on the road. Lots of storage to bring home all the shopping goodies. We are only selling because we bought a 5th wheel and need a tow vehicle. Active fuel management auto adjust cylinders when 8 not required. In over 52 years of owing/driving vehicles this has been my favorite. All the comforts/ride of an suv with the cargo capacity of a truck.

A Real Beauty and Fun to Drive!
This is my 2nd Avalanche and I'm looking to buy another one; 2013- last year made! I love how versatile this vehicle is with the lockable space and how the back cab opens up to give more hauling space. The controls and functions are convenient and easy to use. The message center makes it easy to keep track of Tire pressures as well as Oil Life. I have had the OnStar with cell phone as well as the XM radio. Both have served me well, and I will get them in my next vehicle.I have always owned Chev-GM products and have always been very happy with them.

Best truck you could ever own!
This truck has taken me all over the west coast, across the islands, through BC and to Alberta and back twice just this year alone! I'm a Chevy man through and through and personally, I think this is the best vehicle they've produced in decades. Why they would discontinue the model is beyond me and I would hope it is brought back within a few years. I will miss this truck dearly as there has been so many memories made because of it but I would like to upgrade to the next generation of avalanche!

Very Smooth Truck
The Avalanche is the best truck I've owned. When I sold one , I bought a newer one.

They aren't a heavy duty work truck. The suspension is built for a comfortable ride, not for hauling massive loads. But, it was capable of towing our trailer with no problem.

The midgate feature is totally unique and a huge benefit for when I needed to pickup something larger. 4x8 sheets of plywood fit in the box with the midgate down.

The trucks have been very reliable. The feature load is great. Gas mileage is way better than any truck I've ever had. I averaged 15L/100km in the city at 11L/100km on the highway.

If you need a really heavy duty work truck, this won't cut it. If you want a really nice riding and very functional truck, the Avalanche is the best.
