2003 Subaru Impreza WRX

Trim: Wagon
by CNDN_DRVR14 on 03-23-2016
Fun and functional
2003 WRX Wagon. The 3rd Subaru I have owned. Great cars, the AWD is easily the best I've ever experienced. WRX is a punchy little 2.0L boxer. If you drive everyday without really punching the throttle you can easily get 600 KM on a full tank ( about 45$ with 91 Octane). The wagon is extremely helpful and functional as the SEDAN does not have fold down rear seats and the wagon does.
BAD:
Requires 91 Octane fuel or above, Your gas mileage can go from 600 on a full tank to 300 if you are constantly driving it the way it wants to be driven ;). Sporty but functional.
Head gaskets seem to be a problem on these Subaru's if they are abused.
I also have a 2004 Forester with 347,000km and all original with NO REPAIRS except brakes, oil changes, and an o2 sensor.

2003 Subaru Impreza WRX

No Other Car Can Make You Smile for This Price
I've owned my 2003 Subaru WRX for 8 yrs and I've never had so much fun driving as I have in this. The biggest selling point is it's performance for the dollar.

Manual Transmission with a Short Shift kit turns you from a "commuter" into a DRIVER. Constant grip in every weather condition from dry to wet to snow. You constantly grin, ear to ear, watching other drivers "white knuckle drive" our Canadian winters with their front wheel drive cars.

The car has been incredibly reliable, and only required routine maintenance (oil, tires, brakes, etc..) during my ownership.

I'd recommend owning a WRX to anyone who considers themselves an automotive enthusiast.
